The chamber contains coolant fluid which reaches a boiling point and then vaporises.

The vaporisation carries the heat away from the laptop and is helped by internal fans that take the hot air away from the laptop.

The laptop hasn't been priced as yet, but Razer's Blade Pro laptop which has similar specs is priced at $3,699, so tech specialists have estimated that it will retail at around $6,000.

The Valerie isn't the only mind blowing laptop that's been announced by CES.

Yesterday, Acer's $9000 Predator 21 X was announced at the Las Vegas show.

It's the first ever laptop with a curved screen and it includes some impressive specs such as a touchpad that can be flipped over for a numeric keyboard, four speakers and two subwoofers, and space for up to five storage drives at a time.

The laptop has rough black edges with silver accents and has a large 21-inch display.

While the Predator 21 X may be attractive to gamers, prospective buyers will have to carry around 19.4 pounds around with them if they want to transport it.

SOME OF THE MOST MIND-BLOWING DEVICES AT CES

  • Toyota's Concept-I car that can be set to a driverless mode and has an AI assistant that can warn for upcoming hazards behind the car and turns.
  • Samsung's smart fridge that you can talk to which lets you add items from your shopping list into a grocery shopping app.
  • The $9,000 Predator 21 - the first laptop with a curved screen.
  • A 'wallpaper' TV screen that's 2.6mm thin and can be hung with magnets.
  • GE's smart oven that can turn itself off if it detects that food is burning.
