Cancer survivor who was told she'd never be a mother surprises her family with a heartwarming pregnancy announcement

A woman who was once told she might never be able to have children after she was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma was naturally delighted when she discovered she was expecting her first child. 

Her family had been devastated for the woman, known only as Linda, from Cicero, Illinois, and she knew they would be overjoyed by the happy news. 

Keen to make it an unforgettable moment, she planned a surprise for her loved ones and captured their hilarious - not to mention heartwarming - reactions on camera. 

After opening a box containing a cuddly toy and a note, Linda's mother was so overwhelmed that all she could do was remain in the same position with her hand over he mouth as tears ran down her face.

But to begin with, Linda's mother didn't seem to impressed as she opened the mystery parcel to reveal a stuffed elephant toy.  

Very confused, she began to get upset until she was told that there was also a card in the box that she hadn't read.

The mother said as she opened the enveloped: 'It's not my birthday.'

Her daughter responded by saying: 'Does it have to be? Jeez.'

Remaining quiet, she simply stared at her daughter in disbelief. 

A man in the background then said: 'You're f****** pregnant? I knew it.'

The camera panned around the room as the news began to sink in and family members began jumping around for joy, while the grandmother-to-be remained quiet.

A man repeatedly shouted 'I knew it! I knew it!' while  Linda began to jump up and down with her family in celebration.

The mother remains in a state of shock as the video ends, with the family continuing to celebrate around her

Other female members of the family were also shown jumping for joy, crying and covering their mouths, while cries of  'are you serious? Oh my god', rang out.

Finally a female family member made her way over to Linda's mother and hugged her as they rocked back and forth crying and repeating the words 'oh my god.'

Younger children then gathered round to read the card and began to well up with tears.
