'Fun with friends!': Amy Schumer and Ryan Reynolds goof around next to their assigned seats as stars prepare for 2017 Golden Globe Awards

They are two of the funniest people in showbiz.

So it's no surprise to see that Amy Schumer and Ryan Reynolds are having a bit of a giggle ahead of the 74th Golden Globes on Sunday night.

On Saturday the actors checked out the seating arrangements at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and couldn't help but take goofy snaps beside their seats.

'Fun with friends! #goldenglobes,' 35-year-old Amy captioned a photo of herself in between Ryan and wife Blake Lively's chairs.

Ryan followed suit by perching in between Amy and Goldie Hawn's seats, posed with a serious expression and wrote: 'Having the best conversation'

The 40-year-old actor has been nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy for his role in Deadpool.

Last year Amy was nominated for best actress in a musical or comedy for her flick Trainwreck.

It seems the 61-year-old star will be doing some pre-red carpet coverage for E! this year. 

Jimmy Fallon will emcee this year's show, to be broadcast live from Beverly Hills by NBC at 8 pm EST. 

It's the first time in nearly a decade that someone other than Ricky Gervais or the duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is hosting the Globes. 

Among the presenters on tap for Sunday night's show are Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Stone, Ben and Casey Affleck, Viola Davis, Amy Schumer, Sting and Matt Damon. 

Meryl Streep is this year's recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for career achievement. She's also nominated for her performance in Florence Foster Jenkins, her 30th Globe nod.
