Ad Astra Comix is the only dedicated English-language publisher focused on producing comics with social justice themes. Publishing includes a variety of services, including book layout, cover design, liaising with printers, and targeted marketing.  We have successfully crowdfunded the production of four full-length graphic narratives, as well as a comic book history of British Columbia, and a poster on Inuit history.

If you are interested in pitching us on a project, please e-mail us.  For best results, send us a finished project with a clear explanation of your past publishing history (if any), existing reach and the social value of your book. Our interest is generally in works of history or comics journalism but we may consider fiction if the work is strong enough. Fictionalized versions of histories and recent events are also acceptable.
