He's back! Val Kilmer looks healthy as he makes rare public appearance at Golden Globes event in LA following tracheostomy procedure a year ago
He sparked health fears when he stepped out looking very frail just three weeks ago.
But Val Kilmer appeared to be on his way back to his normal healthy self on Thursday night.
The actor - who turned 57-last week - made a rare public appearance at the at W Magazine Celebrates the Best Performances event at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The Batman Forever star looked ready for a night's partying in black shoes and grey slacks, with a fitted black zip-up over a navy and white striped T-shirt.
With his blonde hair slicked back, he carried his spectacles in his hand as he made a bee-line into the shindig.
In December a thin and frail-looking Val cut a very different picture when he was spotted out in La Jolla.
Val has denied numerous times over the past couple of years that he was suffering from throat cancer.
Most recently in November he took to Facebook to again deny it after his friend and Ghost And The Darkness co-star Michael Douglas claimed he is 'dealing with exactly what I had', referring to his own oral cancer.
The actor wrote in response: 'I love Michael Douglas but he is misinformed. The last time I spoke to him was almost two years ago, when I asked him for a referral for a specialist to get a diagnosis for a lump in my throat.
He added: 'I ended up using a team at UCLA and have no cancer whatsoever. I still have a swollen tongue and am rehabbing steadily.'
Kilmer is a Christian Scientist, who believe illness is an illusion that can be healed by the power of prayer, rather than by medicine.
Thursday's party was held ahead of Sunday's Golden Globes ceremony, and brought together much of the talent on the list of nominees, including Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Hailee Steinfeld, Lily Collins and Justin Timberlake.
Val meanwhile hasn't been seen on the big screen or small screen since 2014; however he does have two films lined up for 2017.
He will appear in British crime drama film the Snowman opposite Michael Fassbender, as well as Terrence Malick's upcoming American drama Song To Song, also starring Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Natalie Portman, and Fassbender again.
