Man about town! Mickey Rourke indulges love of fashion with matching Louis Vuitton purse and shoes
His character was something of a man about town in erotic classic Nine And A Half Weeks.
And Mickey Rourke proved he is one in real life as he carried a designer purse and matching shoes in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The trendy star flaunted his vast wealth by donning Louis Vuitton, despite the fact he was just heading to a training session.
Boy and his toy (dog): Mickey Rourke was carrying his Pomeranian in Los Angeles Thursday
A man of impeccable taste: However it was his matching Louis Vuitton purse and shoes that really caught the eye
The 64-year-old silver screen hunk was his usual inimitable self in a hooded top, Wild Card Boxing Club jacket and camouflage trousers, thought it was his handbag and shoes that really caught the eye.
The Sin City star had also brought along his favourite accessory - his adorable Pomeranian toy dog.
Once famed for his pretty boy looks, Mickey's career in boxing and botched plastic surgery to repair the damage dramatically altered his appearance.
He previously admitted: ‘I had my nose broken twice. I had five operations on my nose and one on a smashed cheekbone.
‘I had to have cartilage taken from my ear to rebuild my nose and a couple of operations to scrape out the cartilage because the scar tissue wasn't healing properly.
He's behind you: Mickey had just indulged in a sweaty session with a partner
What was the first rule of Fight Club? He was also wearing a Wild Card Boxing Club top
Pretty boy: But Mickey admitted his looks are not what they used to be due to surgery
'Most of it was to mend the mess of my face because of the boxing, but I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together.'
And just to pile on the agony, he said he was forced to undergo an even more excruciating procedure to solve another health problem.
He said: 'That was one of the most painful operations, but the worst was haemorrhoids.’
Between 1991 and 1994 Mickey fought eight times, winning six and drawing two, however his opponents were mainly tomato cans.
He returned to the ring and won an exhibition fight by knockout in 2014, however his opponent later claimed he had been paid to throw the fight.
And off he goes: No doubt Mickey was rushing home to read a pile of scripts
No manbags allowed: Thankfully Mickey eschewed such fashion choices in erotic classic Nine And A Half Weeks
