A new still from the action man's guest slot on Mom was released on Friday and it looks rather steamy.  

The episode Good Karma And The Big Weird, which will air on January 19, will see his character get romantically involved with the co-lead played by his 40-year-old wife.

In the image, the couple can be seen wrapped about each other for a passionate kiss, which Pratt's told Vanity Fair outlasted the actual filming of the take.  

The CBS sitcom, which is on its fourth series, stars Allison Janney and Faris as a mother and daughter, respectively, who are both coping with addiction recovery.

Per an episode synopsis, it's Janney's character who nudges the Faris and Pratt characters together.

Nick, whom the Passengers star plays, enters the story by way of his aunt Marjorie, who's portrayed by Mimi Kennedy and has been a regular since the second series.

In the February issue of Vanity Fair, which he's covered, Pratt explained that during his Mom episode, his character woos Faris' with the Kenny Rogers song Lady.

'I played it, then we kissed. Normally, when you do a kissing scene, it’s awkward, and when it’s done you say: "Are you O.K.?"'

As the Guardians Of The Galaxy star recalled, however, 'this was different. After they yelled: "Cut," we laughed and just kept on kissing.'
