A man has been struck down by a car and killed in a suspected domestic dispute outside a kindergarten.
The 32-year-old man had been seen walking alone and carrying a suitcase before he was hit by a car outside a Sunbury kindergarten in Melbourne's outer north-west early Sunday.
Police arrested a 29-year-old woman and questioned her over the incident.
She was charged with one count of murder late Sunday evening.
Emergency services were called to the car park, in Stewarts Lane, about 6.15am, and found the man dead at the scene.
The car, a station wagon, was found parked in a driveway a few blocks away with a smashed windscreen.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Nick Densley said it would have been a horrible incident to witness.
The woman has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
