And Jennifer Garner still looked in good spirits despite cutting a solo figure as she headed for a coffee run in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The actress, 44, who is mother to Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight, and Samuel, four with the Batman Vs Superman star, looked chic in a turtleneck jumper for the low-key outing.

The Golden Globe award winning beauty draped one over-sized black handbag on her arm, as she cradled her warm beverage in her hand.

Casually strolling along in her comfortable UGG boots, Jennifer's great mood comes after reports she enjoyed the festive season in Montana with her kids and Ben.

The very amicable exes have been spending quality time together in a luxury ski-resort in Big Sky, according to a report from People.

Also with them is Jennifer's family from West Virginia. 'They all seem to have a good time together,' a source told the site.

Jennifer and Ben were also in Montana last year, staying at the private, members-only ski resort in Big Sky.

'Jen and Ben seem happy to be on vacation,' a source said last year. 'They both enjoy the privacy of Montana.'

This comes after the family of five spent Thanksgiving together - causing speculation about whether the A list actors are together romantically again.

He continued: 'It's a joy to hang out with them, I think the meaning of life is to make good people.'
