In the short time since the shocking deaths of Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds, countless Hollywood stars have paid tribute to the screen legends.
And Gwyneth Paltrow was among a number of famous faces who gathered at Carrie's Beverly Hills home on Thursday, for a private memorial service.
Accompanied by her boyfriend Brad Falchuck, the Oscar-winning actress cut a sombre figure as she made her way through the leafy locale.

She kept her style understated for the sad occasion, wearing a lilac dress with a pussy bow neckline under a camel coat, which she teamed with tan booties.
With her golden tresses resting on her shoulders in gentle waves with a centre parting, the 44-year-old actress chatted with her beau, who donned a black coat over a crisp white shirt.
Inside, they rubbed shoulders with a number of stars, including George Lucas, Courtney Love, Meg Ryan, Penny Marshall, Ellen Barkin, Ed Begley Jr., and Meryl Streep, who was seen arriving with an arrangement of white flowers.

Carrie's brother Todd Fisher was also in attendance, as well as her actress daughter Billie Lourd, whose Scream Queens co-star Taylor Lautner showed his support.
The Stars Wars star's half-sisters Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher, and her ex-husband Bryan Lourd were also among the many gathered mourners.
As a touching gesture, Carrie's beloved dog, Gary, was included among the gathering of special guests, who had come together to bid the star a collective farewell.

According to People magazine, the funeral service was arranged by Carrie's daughter Billie, who wanted it to take place at the star's home, where she enjoyed frequently entertaining her beloved friends.
A source said: 'Billie wanted the people her mother loved to gather in that living room one last time.'
The publication reports that Billie, Meryl, Tracey Ullman, Bruce Wagner and Stephen Fry were among those who delivered eulogies in front of the 125 guests

'All the tributes circled back to Billie and how much Carrie loved her,' added the source, who revealed that guests were fed a familiar staple from Carrie's legendary parties: a hearty meal of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread.
Eyewitnesses say that Meryl, who was a longtime close friend of the family, performed her late pal's favourite song, Happy Days Are Here Again.
'By the end, everyone was singing,' said the source.
Carrie was cremated earlier this week following her shocking December 27 death, which came days after she went into cardiac arrest aboard a London-to-Los Angeles flight.

As her fans and loved ones reeled from the tragedy, her mother Debbie Reynolds died from a suspected stroke at the age of 84 just one day later.
According to reports, her funeral is scheduled to take place on Friday, and some of Carrie's ashes will be buried with the Singing In The Rain actress.
It has also been reported that a public memorial service is being planned later in the year for both actresses, though final details have been to be announced.
