Amber Alert issued for two boys, 8 and 12, believed to have been kidnapped by their mother from their grandfather's Colorado home 

  • Johnny Dinapoli, 8, and Joseph, 12, were last seen near their grandfather's car 
  • Their grandfather saw Rebecca Dinapoli, 38, then drive away with the boys 
  • The incident occurred in Englewood, Colorado around 5.30am 

Police have issued an Amber alert for two missing boys believed to have been kidnapped by their mother early this morning in Englewood, Colorado.

Johnny Dinapoli, 8, and Joseph, 12, were last seen at their grandfather's house on 4900 block of South Galapago Street around 5.30am when they went outside to retrieve something from his car.

When he went to the door to check on them, he saw their mother Rebecca Dinapoli, 38, pulling out of the driveway in a silver Chevy Equinox with the boys inside.

She does not have custody of the two children, according to 9 News.

Joseph stands 4 feet 10 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a hoodie and grey sweatpants. 

Johnny has brown hair and brown eyes, and is 3 feet 6 inches tall. He was last seen wearing black sweat pants.

Rebecca is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
