Vellad is a village in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala.[1]
Demographics[edit]
As of 2001[update] India census, Vellad had a population of 27917 with 13933 males and 13984 females.[1] The population depends on Agriculture for their livelihood. The main commercial cash crop is Rubber. There are two High Schools within a radius of 3 km.
