The death of a man found in a Dandenong North backyard is no longer being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to a property on Taurus Avenue on Saturday, where the body was found just after 8pm.
Homicide squad detectives were called in to investigate, but the case is now being handled by local crime detectives, who will prepare a report for the coroner.
Police said on Sunday that the death is no longer considered suspicious following the results of a post-mortem examination.
A cause of death has not been released and police are still trying to locate next of kin.
