Young woman killed in NSW south coast town Narooma in head-on crash

A young woman has been killed in a road crash on the NSW south coast.

The 19-year-old woman was driving on the Princes Highway near Narooma before 1pm on Saturday in a Toyota Corolla when it is believed she was involved in a head-on collision with a Land Cruiser.

The woman died on the scene and her 19-year-old male passenger was flown to Canberra Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The Landcruiser driver, a 19-year-old man, was unharmed but his three teenage passengers were taken to Bega Hospital with minor injuries.

Police have launched an investigation and called for witnesses to come forward.
