National Data | December Jobs— Immigrant Employment Grew 38% Faster Than Native-born American Employment In Obama’s...

Jobs data released Friday for the last full month of the Obama Administration saw immigrant displacement of American workers at its fifth-highest level in absolute terms—leaving intact this 96-month-long powerful if paradoxical trend (blacks are particular victims).

Employers added 156,000 jobs last month, while the unemployment rate Read more >>

The War On Christmas In The Age of Trump

Peter Brimelow writes: Tonight is Twelfth Night, when Christmas decorations are traditionally taken down (although there’s a dispute as to whether it should really be January 6th, Epiphany). We celebrate by posting Tom Piataks annual report for VDARE.com on the War On Christmas.

The Main Stream Media consensus on the War on Christmas has long been a denial that there is such a thing—coupled with an insistence that, even if there might be, no one could possibly consider it an important issue.  2016 did not cooperate with this narrative, since the year saw discussion of the War on Christmas at the highest level in politics, from one end of Europe to another, and everywhere Donald Trump, who regularly promised to bring back “Merry Christmas” as the standard public holiday greeting, held one of his campaign rallies.

Russian President Vladimir Putin raised the War on Christmas in a speech describing the assault on traditional forms of identity throughout the West:
We see that many Euro-Atlantic states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western civilization…. The people in many European states are actually ashamed of their religious affiliations and are indeed frightened to speak about them. Christian holidays and celebrations are abolished or "neutrally" renamed, as if one were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method one hides away the deeper moral value of those celebrations….

Pat Buchanan: Is Liberal Democracy an Endangered Species?

"As we begin 2017, the most urgent threat to liberal democracy is not autocracy," writes William Galston of The Wall Street Journal, "it is illiberal democracy."

Galston's diagnosis is not wrong, and his alarm is not misplaced.

Yet why does America's great export, liberal democracy, which appeared to be the future of the West if not of mankind at the Cold War's end, now appear to be a church with a shrinking congregation?

Why is liberal democracy losing its appeal?

A front-page story about France's presidential election, in the same day's Journal, suggests an answer.

In the final round next May, the French election is likely to come down to a choice of Marine Le Pen or Francois Fillon.

Le Pen is the "let France be France" candidate of the National Front. Fillon is a traditionalist Catholic from northwest France, home to the martyred resistance of the Revolution—the legendary Vendee.

Fillon won practicing and nonpracticing Catholics alike by a landslide, and took 3 in 5 votes of those professing other faiths. Read more >>

French Fight Back Against Immigrants; France Fights the French

Protesters: "Rape In Brittany--the French Government Is an Accomplice"

Crossposted from Amren.com

In France, 62 percent of the population oppose the resettlement of migrants, but any resistance meets with severe repression. When he was prime minister, Manuel Valls declared: “Those who refuse to welcome refugees will have to face the state.” The government is carrying out that threat.

Arzon is a village of just 2,130 people on the Atlantic coast of Brittany, one of countless communities forced by the French government to accept “refugees.” (Picture right.) Last November, a Sudanese migrant in Arzon sexually assaulted a 67-year-old woman. The incident was carefully hushed up by the mainstream; only the alternative news source Breizh-Info.com reported it in an article dated November 13.

A brisk demonstration

As soon as the article appeared, a call went out on social media for a demonstration to be held the next day in front of the Arzon city hall. One hundred twenty people gathered and were addressed by two men: Nicolas Faure, who runs an association for immigration control, and Roman Le Gall, who leads the Breton nationalist party Asdav.

After they spoke, French and Breton patriots marched to the center where the migrants are housed, shouting slogans that reflected their opposition both to migrants and to the politicians who let them in: “Breton youth against the rabble,” “Not Paris, not Africa, this is Brittany,” “Breton youth against the Left,” and, in English, “Refugees not welcome.” Read more >>

Ann Coulter On Fake Hate And The $PLC: The Great Hijab Cover-Up

Forget fake news; the real issue is fake "hate.”

Has there been one (1) documented hate crime committed by white people against any hue in the Rainbow Coalition since Nov. 8? That's out of the 9,456,723 hate crimes alleged by America's leading hate group, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

The SPLC is to "hate" what Rolling Stone is to rape. It is the biggest peddler of fantasies since Walt Disney.

I've read through dozens of SPLC "hate crimes" and they are all lies. The Muslim girls in particular seem to be very spirited liars.

Since the election, there have been vivid stories from across the nation of Trump supporters tearing off Muslim girls' hijabs—at the University of Michigan (since retracted), Louisiana State University (also retracted), San Diego State University (that too was retracted), the New York City subway (again: retracted), and the University of New Mexico (no witnesses, won't reveal attacker's name or report the incident for investigation). Automation + Immigration = White Identitarianism. Have Our Rulers Really Thought This Through?

The purpose of the Lying Press is to tell Americans why they are not allowed to resist their dispossession. Thus, just before Christmas, The New York Times contemptuously informed its readers that immigration and globalization are not the real threat to jobs—automation is. Therefore, according to labor economists quoted by the NYT, we need “retraining programs, stronger unions, more public-sector jobs, a higher minimum wage, a bigger earned-income tax credit, and, for the next generation of workers, more college degrees." [ The Long-Term Jobs Killer Is Not China. It’s Automation. By Claire Cain Miller, New York Times, December 21, 2017]

Otherwise, people might do something unacceptable—like start “blaming immigrants.”

Yet long term, the United States is heading towards financial disaster as entitlement programs and health care costs will push the debt to ruinous levels. More handouts and entitlements are hardly likely to solve the problem unless they are paid for with massive tax increases, which would stifle already languid economic growth. And the current state of higher education hardly makes “more college degrees” a panacea. Read more >>
