Belenismo sa Tarlac - is an annual tradition started in 2007, to promote both the art of Belen-making and the "bayanihan" spirit among the people of Tarlac. It's a voluntary effort to restore the religious and social significance of the Belen as a symbol of Christmas. It aims to bring together the people of Tarlac, from different walks of life, and from different parts of the province in one peaceful competition and towards a common goal: to promote Tarlac as one of the country's top tourist destinations and declare it as the "Belen Capital of the Philippines".
At the height of the event is a province-wide contest showcasing the different Belens from schools, business establishments, municipalities, churches, and government agencies. Belens made of indigenous, and sometimes unusual, materials are proudly displayed in streets, buildings, gardens, and houses. At night, they all come to life as their bright lights are turned on and the beautiful nativity scene grabs everyone's attention.
Generously sponsored by the San Miguel Corporation, the event starts every November when entries are set up and submitted for judging, and then followed by a lavish awards night held every December. The remain on display up to earlyJanuary.
Theprovince of Tarlac in the Philippines is a scenic one and a half hour's drive from the country's capital, Metro Manila. It has 17 municipalities and one city inhabited by more than 1.2 million residents. It is rich in agricultural products and mineral resources. Towards the end of each year during the Belenismo sa Tarlac, the abundant artistic talent and cultural heritage of its people becomes more apparent.

El proyecto de este belén monumental surgió a principios de los años 90 como una iniciativa de la Comisión de Fiesta de Reyes de empleados de Bancaja, coordinada por Ramón Tamarit. La materialización de la idea se prolongó durante seis años. Los tres primeros fueron de documentación, mientras que la construcción, con más de 10.000 horas dedicadas a la elaboración técnica, se realizó entre 1993 y 1996, año en el que se expuso por primera vez en Valencia. Los maestros José Luis Mayo y José Luis Catalá, dos de los más importantes artistas belenistas de España, fueron los encargados de la creación del conjunto escultórico.
El Belén Bancaja recrea con más de 1.200 figuras los momentos más importantes del nacimiento de Jesús. Este conjunto navideño conduce al visitante por un recorrido cronológico, que va desde la Anunciación de Nazaret al Nacimiento de Jesús en Belén, la Adoración de los Reyes Magos y los pastores y hasta la Huída a Egipto ante el acoso de Herodes. A lo largo de sus 15 ediciones, el viaje del Belén Bancaja por diversas capitales españolas ha atraído a más de 1,3 millones de personas. Su condición de itinerante es una de sus características principales, que ha permitido a Fundación Bancaja acercar esta instalación navideña a las ciudades de Valencia, Alicante, Segorbe, Madrid, Barcelona, Castellón, Palma de Mallorca, Albacete, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Sevilla, Tarragona, Elche, Alcoy y Sagunto.
El Belén Bancaja narra la historia del nacimiento de Jesús y tiene su comienzo hace mas de 2000 años, puesto que esta narración arranca algunos años antes del nacimiento, con María y José, aún no desposados, en Nazaret. Sigue en Belén, donde María dio a luz y termina en Egipto donde tuvieron que huir para eludir la amenaza de Herodes.
* NAZARET constituye el primer gran escenario del Belén. El panorama reproduce escenas de la vida diaria y especialmente los hechos y personajes de mayor relevancia: la carpintería de José, la fuente de María, la divulgación del edicto de empadronamiento y la Anunciación.
* BELÉN es el segundo escenario. José y María se ven obligados a abandonar Nazaret por el empadronamiento. María, tiene cercano el día que dará a luz, y José se acercan a la Puerta de Belén. La ciudad de Jerusalén se divisa, con las murallas que protegen el templo y palacio de Herodes. Escenas cotidianas como el lavadero, un pastor con un rebaño, unos niños jugando... Son la antesala del establo, escena principal del Belén. Pastores, Reyes Magos, el ángel que anuncia la Buena Nueva son el panorama final de esta parte.
* EGIPTO es el último escenario y se inicia con la escena del descanso. José, María y Jesús reposan bajo dos grandes palmeras junto a las tiendas de los beduinos, ya a salvo de la amenaza de Herodes, que con su orden amenazaba la vida de Jesús. Le siguen las escenas del puerto egipcio, los barcos y los silos, para terminar con las pirámides y el paisaje característico de una tierra marcada por el curso del río Nilo. En definitiva una gran obra, llamémosla escultórica, para rememorar la historia del nacimiento de Jesús.

Belén Rodríguez
María Belén Rodríguez Cozzani (maˈɾi.a βeˈlen roðˈɾiɣes koˈsani) (born 20 September 1984) is an Argentine television personality, actress and model. She is known by the name of Belén Rodríguez or as Belén and she lives and works in Italy, where she has presented many variety shows.
In 2009 and 2010, she has appeared in television commercials alongside actor Christian De Sica advertising a popular mobile phone network operating company. She made her acting debut as the female protagonist in the Italian film Natale in Sudafrica in December 2010. In 2011, she was a co-presenter of the annual televised Italian singing contest, the Sanremo Music Festival. The following year, she substituted as co-presenter for the first two nights of the festival.
Early life
Belén was born in Buenos Aires,Argentina, to Gustavo Rodríguez and Veronica Cozzani de Rodríguez. Her mother is of Italian origin Veronica Cozzani, the daughter of immigrants from La Spezia, Liguria. Belen is the sister of Jeremias and Cecilia, other sons of Gustavo and Veronica.

Belenismo sa Tarlac - is an annual tradition started in 2007, to promote both the art of Belen-making and the "bayanihan" spirit among the people of Tarlac. It's a voluntary effort to restore the religious and social significance of the Belen as a symbol of Christmas. It aims to bring together the people of Tarlac, from different walks of life, and from different parts of the province in one peaceful competition and towards a common goal: to promote Tarlac as one of the country's top tourist destinations and declare it as the "Belen Capital of the Philippines".
At the height of the event is a province-wide contest showcasing the different Belens from schools, business establishments, municipalities, churches, and government agencies. Belens made of indigenous, and sometimes unusual, materials are proudly displayed in streets, buildings, gardens, and houses. At night, they all come to life as their bright lights are turned on and the beautiful nativity scene grabs everyone's attention.
Generously sponsored by the San Miguel Corporation, the event starts every November when entries are set up and submitted for judging, and then followed by a lavish awards night held every December. The remain on display up to earlyJanuary.

El proyecto de este belén monumental surgió a principios de los años 90 como una iniciativa de la Comisión de Fiesta de Reyes de empleados de Bancaja, coordinada por Ramón Tamarit. La materialización de la idea se prolongó durante seis años. Los tres primeros fueron de documentación, mientras que la construcción, con más de 10.000 horas dedicadas a la elaboración técnica, se realizó entre 1993 y 1996, año en el que se expuso por primera vez en Valencia. Los maestros José Luis Mayo y José Luis Catalá, dos de los más importantes artistas belenistas de España, fueron los encargados de la creación del conjunto escultórico.
El Belén Bancaja recrea con más de 1.200 figuras los momentos más importantes del nacimiento de Jesús. Este conjunto navideño conduce al visitante por un recorrido cronológico, que va desde la Anunciación de Nazaret al Nacimiento de Jesús en Belén, la Adoración de los Reyes Magos y los pastores y hasta la Huída a Egipto ante el acoso de Herodes. A lo largo de sus 15 ediciones, el viaje del Belén Bancaja por diversas capitales españolas ha atraído a más de 1,3 millones de personas. Su condición de itinerante es una de sus características principales, que ha permitido a Fundación Bancaja acercar esta instalación navideña a las ciudades de Valencia, Alicante, Segorbe, Madrid, Barcelona, Castellón, Palma de Mallorca, Albacete, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Sevilla, Tarragona, Elche, Alcoy y Sagunto.
El Belén Bancaja narra la historia del nacimiento de Jesús y tiene su comienzo hace mas de 2000 años, puesto que esta narración arranca algunos años antes del nacimiento, con María y José, aún no desposados, en Nazaret. Sigue en Belén, donde María dio a luz y termina en Egipto donde tuvieron que huir para eludir la amenaza de Herodes.
* NAZARET constituye el primer gran escenario del Belén. El panorama reproduce escenas de la vida diaria y especialmente los hechos y personajes de mayor relevancia: la carpintería de José, la fuente de María, la divulgación del edicto de empadronamiento y la Anunciación.
* BELÉN es el segundo escenario. José y María se ven obligados a abandonar Nazaret por el empadronamiento. María, tiene cercano el día que dará a luz, y José se acercan a la Puerta de Belén. La ciudad de Jerusalén se divisa, con las murallas que protegen el templo y palacio de Herodes. Escenas cotidianas como el lavadero, un pastor con un rebaño, unos niños jugando... Son la antesala del establo, escena principal del Belén. Pastores, Reyes Magos, el ángel que anuncia la Buena Nueva son el panorama final de esta parte.
* EGIPTO es el último escenario y se inicia con la escena del descanso. José, María y Jesús reposan bajo dos grandes palmeras junto a las tiendas de los beduinos, ya a salvo de la amenaza de Herodes, que con su orden amenazaba la vida de Jesús. Le siguen las escenas del puerto egipcio, los barcos y los silos, para terminar con las pirámides y el paisaje característico de una tierra marcada por el curso del río Nilo. En definitiva una gran obra, llamémosla escultórica, para rememorar la historia del nacimiento de Jesús.
