Man arrested after Falcon firearm incident

Mandurah police have arrested a man in Falcon on Saturday afternoon following a firearm incident.

Detectives and local officers swooped on the Merlin Street property just after noon.

A police spokesman said a report had been made to police earlier in the day concerning a young man armed with a gun.

The man and his alleged victims are understood to be known to each other.

No injuries were reported as a result of the earlier incident.

Investigations are continuing with charges expected to be laid.
