Four people facing 80 charges following Collie drug raids

Four people are facing 80 charges following police drugs raids at a house in Collie and another property in nearby Allanson.

The bulk of the charges have been brought against a 53-year-old man who faces 58 allegations of offering to sell or supply illegal drugs as well as six counts of selling drugs.

On Friday police raided a house on Steere Road and a house on Ireland Street, both in Allanson.

Both houses were cordoned off as specialist staff from the ChemCentre went through the properties.

As well as the charges against the 53-year-old police have also brought a string of charges against two other men and a woman.

A 46-year-old man has been charged with possessing illegal drugs, possessing a prohibited plant,possessing stolen property and having drug paraphernalia.

A 28-year-old woman has been charged with possessing illegal drugs, breach of bail, giving false details to police and possessing drug paraphernalia.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with selling an illegal drug.

All four were refused bail and were due to appear before Bunbury Magistrates today, Saturday.
