PGA star Bubba Watson talks Riviera win, Golf Boys reunion ahead of 2017 Genesis Open

With his easygoing personality and playful sense of humor, Bubba Watson is one of the most likeable stars on the PGA Tour. He’s also one of its most gifted golfers. Watson currently sits at No. 10 in the World Golf Rankings and last February, the two-time Masters Champion pulled off a come-from-behind win at the Northern Trust Open to capture his sole PGA Tour win of the season.

In 2017, the longtime California tournament will have new sponsor and host. The Genesis Open, named for Hyundai's brand new luxury car brand, will be hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation, beginning a new chapter for one of the PGA’s most storied courses, the Riviera in Pacific Palisades. Watson is no doubt hoping the host and sponsor are all that changes, as he’s won the tournament twice in the past three years.
