Ridiculous ending. I hammered them for taking too long to get their chase going but Eoin Morgan, I sincerely apologise. Timed it to perfection.
The Thunder are still long odds to make the finals but they stay alive with that win. The Stars remain with just one win themselves, albeit from two fewer games.

Wow. What an ending - only a maximum would have won it for the Thunder and Morgan, in his last game for the team, absolutely blasted it back over the head of Hilfenhaus and into the seats. He started celebrating the moment he hit it, that was clean as a whistle!
Morgan hits a two straight down the ground. One ball left, four for a super over, six for a Thunder win!

Slower ball from Boland, Morgan isn't fooled and it's pulled away. They're getting closer...

Terrible from Faulkner, short and straight down the leg side and Morgan hooks it away with ease.

Bang! Best shot of the night for the Thunder as Morgan whacks one over midwicket for a maximum.
Beer back into the attack and his first ball is driven straight back down the ground by Morgan for a boundary. That's the 100 up for the Thunder too. They need to really pick up the pace here!
Zampa gets a well-deserved wicket!
Bowled well tonight, and he gets Rohrer on the second last ball of his spell - completely fooled the batsman there and sent the bails flying. Thunder in huge trouble.
Rohrer gets hold of one, finally, and pulls it strongly away to the fence. Lots of work to do for the Thunder though, we've just reached the halfway point of the innings and they need another 98 to win.
