Two more women allege sexual assault at Falls Festival in Tasmania

Controversy continues to dog Falls Festival after more women came forward to allege they had been sexually assaulted during the Tasmanian leg of the music and arts festival.

Two more women have told police they were sexually assaulted at Tasmania's Falls Festival.

Five women have now reported sexual assaults, including an alleged rape, at the annual music festival.

The festival also suffered through a crowd crush this year, in the aftermath of which 19 people were treated in hospital, though none were seriously injured.

There was a stampede at one of the exits to the Grand Theatre at the Lorne Falls Festival on December 30 when crowd members rushed from one performance to another headline act.

Parents slammed organiser of the festival for poor communication after their children were injured at the festival.
