Missing toddler found safe and sound by police

ACT police have found a three-year-old girl safe and sound after she went missing from her Wanniassa home.

Police began searching for the blond, curly-haired toddler shortly after 5.30pm at Wheeler Crescent where she was last seen.

The public was called on to assist the police in locating the girl, who was found less than two hours after the search was initiated near to her family home.

Wearing yellow shorts and a khaki T-shirt with a picture of Minnie Mouse on the front, family were very relieved she had come to no harm.
