Crescent Head rescue | 14 people washed from rocks

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Crescent Head after reports that multiple people were washed from a rock shelf by a freak wave on Wednesday afternoon.

Fourteen people were swept out of a blow hole – two of them adults and the rest children.

One man suffered a broken collarbone and was stuck at the bottom of the cliff before being rescued.
