"The Russian ambassador to Turkey was shot in the back and killed as he gave a speech at an Ankara art gallery on Monday by an off-duty police officer who shouted "Don't forget Aleppo" and "Allahu Akbar" as he opened fire.
President Tayyip Erdogan, in a video message to the nation, cast the attack as an attempt to undermine NATO-member Turkey's relations with Russia - ties long tested by the war in Syria. He said he had agreed in a telephone call with Russia's Vladimir Putin to step up cooperation in fighting terrorism.
At a special meeting at the Kremlin, President Putin ordered increased security at all Russian missions and said "the bandits" who committed the act would feel retribution.
"We must know who directed the killer's hand."
The assassination of an ambassador, not least of a major power such as Russia, marks a dangerous escalation of tension in the region and beyond. Security sources said he was off duty and some witnesses said there was no security scanning machine at the entrance.
The attacker was smartly dressed in black suit and tie and stood, alone, behind the ambassador as he began his speech at the art exhibition, a person at the scene told Reuters."*

A terrorist shot and killed Russia's ambassador to Turkey at a photo exhibition on Monday, the Russian foreign ministry says.
The Russian foreign ministry also characterized the assassination as an act of terrorism designed to ruin Turkey-Russia relations, the BBC reports. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Reuters reports that the terrorist shouted "Don't forget Aleppo, don't forget Syria!" during the shooting.
Turkish police shot and killed the terrorist, Turkish station NTV reported. The mayor of Ankara reportedly identified the terrorist as Melih Gokcek, 22, an off-duty police officer.
The U.S. State Department has advised U.S. citizens to avoid the embassy area in Ankara in wake of the attack.
The ambassador, Andrei Karlov, was several minutes into a speech at the embassy-sponsored exhibition in the capital, Ankara, when a man wearing a suit and tie shouted "Allahu Akbar" and fired at least eight shots.
The exhibition was called "Russia as seen by Turks," BBC News reports.

We shoot some Russian Azot slugs in this video. These are quite similar to the German Brenneke slugs. This is the first time these have ever been shot in the U.S. and I haven't found any other videos of them yet. If you aren't Russian, you probably have never heard of these slugs before. The quality of the slugs is actually very good and is on par with even the Italian Gualandi slugs, which are world-class. The quality is better than some of the Brennekes we have shot, which fell apart in our tests. Let's see how the Azots perform.

Russian language
Russian (ру́сский язы́к, russkiy yazyk, pronounced [ˈruskʲɪj jɪˈzɨk]) is an East Slavic language and an official language in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and many unrecognised territories. It is an unofficial but widely-spoken language in Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, and to a lesser extent, the other countries that were once constituent republics of the Soviet Union and former participants of the Eastern Bloc. Russian belongs to the family of Indo-European languages and is one of the three living members of the East Slavic languages. Written examples of Old East Slavonic are attested from the 10th century onwards.
It is the most geographically-widespread language of Eurasia and the most widely spoken of the Slavic languages. It is also the largest native language in Europe, with 144 million native speakers in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Russian is the eighth most spoken language in the world by number of native speakers and the seventh by total number of speakers. The language is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.

Plot: FATALIS is a story about Milo, a young man living in New York City, who finds himself at a crossroads. Max wants Atom to fight but Charlie tells him he won't last a round. However, Atom wins. And it isn't long before Atom is getting major bouts. Max gets Charlie to teach Atom how to fight, and the father and son bond strenghtens.

This is the first time these have ever been shot in the U.S. and I haven't found any other videos of them yet. If you aren't Russian, you probably have never heard of these slugs before. The quality of the slugs is actually very good and is on par with even the Italian Gualandi slugs, which are world-class. "The Russian ambassador to Turkey was shot in the back and killed as he gave a speech at an Ankara art gallery on Monday by an off-duty police officer who shouted "Don't forget Aleppo" and "Allahu Akbar" as he opened fire.
President Tayyip Erdogan, in a video message to the nation, cast the attack as an attempt to undermine NATO-member Turkey's relations with Russia - ties long tested by the war in Syria. He said he had agreed in a telephone call with Russia's Vladimir Putin to step up cooperation in fighting terrorism.
At a special meeting at the Kremlin, President Putin ordered increased security at all Russian missions and said "the bandits" who committed the act would feel retribution.
"We must know who directed the killer's hand."
The assassination of an ambassador, not least of a major power such as Russia, marks a dangerous escalation of tension in the region and beyond. Security sources said he was off duty and some witnesses said there was no security scanning machine at the entrance.
The attacker was smartly dressed in black suit and tie and stood, alone, behind the ambassador as he began his speech at the art exhibition, a person at the scene told Reuters."*

A terrorist shot and killed Russia's ambassador to Turkey at a photo exhibition on Monday, the Russian foreign ministry says.
The Russian foreign ministry also characterized the assassination as an act of terrorism designed to ruin Turkey-Russia relations, the BBC reports. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Reuters reports that the terrorist shouted "Don't forget Aleppo, don't forget Syria!" during the shooting.
Turkish police shot and killed the terrorist, Turkish station NTV reported. The mayor of Ankara reportedly identified the terrorist as Melih Gokcek, 22, an off-duty police officer.
The U.S. State Department has advised U.S. citizens to avoid the embassy area in Ankara in wake of the attack.
The ambassador, Andrei Karlov, was several minutes into a speech at the embassy-sponsored exhibition in the capital, Ankara, when a man wearing a suit and tie shouted "Allahu Akbar" and fired at least eight shots.
The exhibition was called "Russia as seen by Turks," BBC News reports.

We shoot some Russian Azot slugs in this video. These are quite similar to the German Brenneke slugs. This is the first time these have ever been shot in the U.S. and I haven't found any other videos of them yet. If you aren't Russian, you probably have never heard of these slugs before. The quality of the slugs is actually very good and is on par with even the Italian Gualandi slugs, which are world-class. The quality is better than some of the Brennekes we have shot, which fell apart in our tests. Let's see how the Azots perform.
