But much hotter weather has been predicted for the next two days before a cool change kicks in later in the week.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a very hot 37 degrees for Perth on Monday.
On Tuesday, when most West Aussies will head back to work after the Christmas break, the forecast has been set at a scorching 39 degrees.
It will be 34 degrees on Wednesday, followed by 28 on Thursday and 25 degrees on Friday.
