Police are investigating a serious crash near the Perth CBD in the early hours of New Year's Day which has left a 26-year-old man with head injuries.
The crash happened on Beaufort Street near James street at 3am.
Police say a 52-year-old man was driving a blue Suzuki Swift south on Beaufort Street when a 26-year-old man attempted to cross the road.
The vehicle and the pedestrian collided with each other.
The 26-year-old man received a head injury and possible internal injuries. He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance.
