Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī (Persian: جلالالدین محمد رومی), also known as Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Balkhī (جلالالدین محمد بلخى), Mawlānā/Mevlânâ (مولانا, "our master"), Mevlevî/Mawlawī (مولوی, "my master"), and more popularly simply as Rumi (1207 – 17 December 1273), was a 13th-century Persian poet, jurist, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic. Rumi's influence transcends national borders and ethnic divisions: Iranians, Tajiks, Turks, Greeks, Pashtuns, other Central Asian Muslims, and the Muslims of South Asia have greatly appreciated his spiritual legacy for the past seven centuries. His poems have been widely translated into many of the world's languages and transposed into various formats. Rumi has been described as the "most popular poet" and the "best selling poet" in the United States.
Rumi's works are written mostly in Persian, but occasionally he also used Turkish, Arabic, and Greek, in his verse. His Mathnawī, composed in Konya, is considered one of the greatest poems of the Persian language. His works are widely read today in their original language across Greater Iran and the Persian-speaking world. Translations of his works are very popular, most notably in Turkey, Azerbaijan, the United States, and South Asia. His poetry has influenced Persian literature, but also Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, Azerbaijani, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, as well as the literature of some other Turkic, Iranian, and Indo-Aryan languages including Chagatai, Pashto, and Bengali
Ahl al-Hadith (Arabic: أهل الحديث, Urdu: Ahl-e-Hadith, "The people of hadith" or "People of the traditions (of the Prophet)"; also Așḥāb al-ḥadīṯ; أصحاب الحديث), is a branch of Sunni Islam and a name given to various Islamic conservative traditionalists, and refers to the adherent's belief that they are not bound by taqlid but consider themselves free to seek guidance in matters of religious faith and practices from the authentic hadith which, together with the Qur'an, are in their view the principal worthy guide for Muslim. Adherents contrast themselves with those they call Ahl al-Rai, literally "the people of rhetorical theology". The Ahl-e-Hadith movement is often described as being synonymous with Salafism.
In recent times it has referred to a sect in Indian subcontinent started in the mid-nineteenth century in Northern India. Followers call themselves as Ahl al-Hadith (Ahl-e-Hadith) or Salafi, while others refer to them as Wahhabi, or consider them a variation on the Wahhabi movement. In recent decades the movement has drawn both inspiration and financial support from Salafi Saudi Arabia, but the movement itself claims to be distinct from Wahhabism, and some believe it possesses some notable distinctions from the mainly Arab Salafis.

Disney Princess is a media franchise owned by The Walt Disney Company. Created by Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney in the early 2000s, the franchise features a line-up of fictional female protagonists who have appeared in various Disney franchises.
The franchise does not, as its name might suggest, include all princess characters from the whole of Disney-owned media, but rather refers to specific characters from the company's animated films. As of 2015 the eleven characters considered part of the franchise are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida. The franchise has released dolls, sing-along videos, apparel, home decor, toys and a variety of other products featuring the Disney Princesses.
"Standing in line in the arena [of a Disney on Ice show], I was surrounded by little girls dressed head to toe as princesses...They weren’t even Disney products. They were generic princess products they’d appended to a Halloween costume. And the light bulb went off. Clearly there was latent demand here. So the next morning I said to my team, "'O.K., let’s establish standards and a color palette and talk to licensees and get as much product out there as we possibly can that allows these girls to do what they’re doing anyway: projecting themselves into the characters from the classic movies.'"
Junaid Jamshed (Urdu: جنید جمشید) is a Pakistani recording artist, television personality, fashion designer, occasional actor, and singer-songwriter. After graduating with a degree in engineering from the UET Lahore, Jamshed briefly worked as a civilian contractor and engineer for the PAF before focusing on a musical career. He soon began performing on various local university campuses before being noticed by Rohail Hyatt in 1983. Jamshed first gained nationwide prominence and international recognition as Vital Signs' vocalist in 1987 with the album, Vital Signs 1. The album topped the Music Channel Charts around the country. In 1994, he released his debut solo album, Junaid of Vital Signs, which also quickly became a national hit, followed by Us Rah Par in 1999 and Dil Ki Baat in 2002. In 2004, Jamshed left both his engineering and music careers and, since then, has focused on Islam and reciting nasheeds. His debut religious album, Jalwa-e-Janan was released in 2005 and was followed by Mehboob-e-Yazdaan in 2006, Badr-ud-Duja in 2008, and Badee-uz-Zaman in 2009. Jamshed also owns a clothing boutique with the name "J." (read as "Jay Dot"), which has several outlets throughout Pakistan.

PBS program about Rumi's poetry and about Coleman Barks, who translated them ("The language of life", 1995. With footage from the "Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival", 1994). Coleman Barks taught poetry and creative writing at the University of Georgia for thirty years. He is the author of numerous Rumi translations, a poet and has been a student of Sufism since 1977. Coleman Barks changed his life's direction when, in 1976, Robert Bly showed him some scholarly translations of the ecstatic poems of Jelaluddin Rumi, a thirteenth-century Sufi mystic, and told him, "These poems need to be released from their cages." He has become the primary conduit bringing Rumi's mystical consciousness into English, translating and publishing fifteen collections of Rumi's poems, for example THE ILLUMINATED ...
"Rumi and Hafez have been the guiding light, Rumi especially, of American poetry for the last five or ten years. But also it seems to me that if we're ...criticizing the Muslim world so much, we should be able to give thanks for the genius that is there...So, this is Persian poetry-14th century. Once I bought a curious bottle,
Once I bought a bottle for fun.
Tell me what you gonna do with the bottle
When the curiousity's done.
Well I brought it out to the Bo Bo's party
Then I got it in to the company,
Then I brought it up to the boys in the backroom,
They got the knack to tune in on me,
Then I brought it up to the boys in the backyard.
I find it hard to hold on me,
I find it hard to hold, I find it hard to hold,
I find it hard to hold on me, I find it hard to hold on me,
I find it hard to hold, hard to hold, hard to hold.
You know, I've been bad, but
I would be good instead.
Ah, if my man did half of the things that he said,
I wouldn't have to go to the Bo Bo's party
I wouldn't have to go to the company,
I wouldn't have to go to the boys in the backroom,
With their knack to tune in on me,
I wouldn't have to go to the boys in the backyard.
I find it hard to hold on me,
I find it hard to hold, I find it hard to hold,
I find it hard to hold on me, I find it hard to hold on me,
