A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life in hospital after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car in Perth's southern suburbs on Wednesday night.
The teenager was travelling west on Cotswold Parade in Aubin Grove around 7.30pm at the same time a 49-year-old man was driving north on Giverney Gardens in a Mitsubishi ASX.
"The two vehicles collided at the intersection of the two roads," a police spokesman said.
"The intersection is controlled by give way signs."
The boy was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance where on Thursday morning he remained in a critical condition.
The other driver had to be cut free from his vehicle by emergency services.
Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
