Police have arrested a man who allegedly shot a round of ammunition into a parked ute on a driveway before entering a house and discharging another round towards a man behind a glass door.
The incident occurred around 6pm on Tuesday night on Millhouse Road in Aveley.

A police spokesman said the 39-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
"The man discharged a round of ammunition into a parked vehicle at the address before gaining entry to the house," he said.

"The man discharged a round of ammunition towards another man known to him inside the house, who was behind a glass door.
"The glass shattered over the man, causing minor injuries."
The accused man left the scene after the alleged shooting but was arrested a short time later in The Vines.
He will appear in Midland Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
