Debbie Reynolds has been rushed to hospital for a possible stroke, less than two days after her daughter Carrie Fisher's death, TMZ reports.

According to the celebrity news website, the 84-year-old actress, who is known for her starring roles in Singin' in the Rain and How the West was Won, was picked up by an ambulance from her son Todd Fisher's Beverly Hills home on Wednesday afternoon.
The website reports "family sources" informed them a call was made in the house about 1pm to report a possible stroke.
Roughly two hours after, Reynolds' daughter Joely Fisher tweeted, "God speed mama."

The family were reportedly gathered at the home discussing funeral plans for Fisher, who passed away on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack last week.
She was 60 years old.
After news of Fisher's death was made public, Reynolds praised her "beloved and amazing" daughter in a Facebook post.
"Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter," she wrote.
"I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carries Mother [sic]."
