A super easy way to find interesting music. No ads, several different ways to listen, mark songs to hunt down later and just chill! No glitches so far either. *UPDATE* Annnnd now the app is full of ads that even paying customers have to see.... Disappointing.

Thanks for the ads, I want my money back. I paid for the app and it has ads. What an effing joke. If I could go back in time and not buy this app I would. I was down to support a site that's given me so much music so I bought the app. Now it has ads. I wish I just stuck to playing it on my phone through Chrome where it works just as well and is free. It was 2 stars but the ads make it 1.

A good little app for discovering new music I've used this app for years and discovered plenty of new music with it! Although it's frustrating to see adverts appear in an app that I paid for, having read your blog post, I understand why it had to happen. I'm happy to continue supporting this excellent tool; please provide other ways for me to do so :)

Ads The app itself is great, however the introduction of ads means my paid-for app has been unceremoniously downgraded to a free-to-play. Surely an easy fix would be to give paying users the option to turn ads off...

since 1.1.6, playing a song brokes the android process so I have to hard reboot my phone... EDIT: still having the issue with 1.1.7 EDIT: fixed with 1.1.8, thanks !

Paid for an app that now gives me ads Paid for this app thinking it was well worth it until they introduced ads. They say they need it now to continue developing since the app is now free. How about giving those people who paid for the app in the first place an ad free option? For those people who in the first place supported the app with money. It's a great app and well made hence the 2 stars instead of the one, but it really feels like I got boned. At least the ads aren't that bad, but who knows if that too will change in the future.

Very disappointing that this went from paid to free with no extra features for those that paid. **Now featuring 100% more ads**

Unfortunately not supported on certain phones :( I love the app and the music I discovered, but the fact that even paying users get ads since the last update is questionable.
Been great from the start This app is great it has so many awesome features and good music, keep up the great work guys 👍

Been a hype member for years and paid for this app when it was first released. Now I'm getting ads? If you're short on cash I'd gladly pay more for additional features (Sonos support I'm looking at you) but I don't want to see this crap on my home page.

I'm all for supporting apps and developers, which is why I paid for the app as soon as I could. But now also including ads now doesn't sit right with me, not even an option for paid users, no thanks!

Ads for those who have paid? Really happy with the developments since this app was first released. Some big improvements have been made. On the other hand I did pay for this initially and the don't feel like I should have to put up with the ads

Can you try the updated version in the store? Lots is fixed there. Just got a galaxy s7 and cannot even open the app on the phone, not sure what is wrong. It just says "the hype machine has stopped working" ???
Ads in a paid app? I paid for this app and I really think it's worth it. However, I believe adding ads for paid customers is kind of a low move. There should be a way to at least pay (again) to disable them.

Could you try the latest update? This should be fixed now. Great app, but chromecast has gone nuts? Love the app and liking what I've seen of the new update. But I've just had it start going ballistic when chromecasting. First track plays fine, then it starts trying to play a bunch of tracks all at the same time and just locks up cycling through them. Please fix! Update: now it seems to just play the one track then stop... Doesn't continue to next in the list

Can you try the latest update? Casting should be working better. Love Hype machine but unfortunately I'm having the track jumping issue as well. Currently the app is unusable because about 90%of the tracks won't play.

Feature request Would love to have a shuffle option for favourites. Was one of my most used features on the unofficial app.

Get it together developers UPDATE I have been listening to hype everyday since the radio show you guys did years ago (bring it back?) Anyways when I saw this app I immediately purchased. I have a Moto X 2014. This app ruins my day frequently. It is infuriating to be in the zone at work or play and this app stop playing music. Sometimes it doesn't even start playing. When that happens I go to SoundCloud and find the song and just use that. I LOVE HYPE. I rep it all day. But this app needs work. More android users, more ears. MUCH BETTER NOW.

Nice The apple version on my I phone is awsome, but the android version is very limited in song playability. Only about 1 in 5 songs are actually playable. I have a galaxy s5. Please be better, especially for a paid app. Update: for the old version if you clear your cashe then the songs work. The new version is even better. Can't wait to link to spotify! Review went from 2 to 5 stars

Gets the job done but is missing an important feature I love hype, but why when I search in the app am I unable to sort by most popular or most likes? I can do that via the web and in the iPad application, but can't on my phone.
Songs still not showing the time length Some problems seem to be resolved but still find it a shame that we cannot see the song time.

Bug Just noticed the app updated, app keeps closing halfway through songs. Please fix as been using hypem app for years.
