Exclusively for subscribers, we took ten minutes with Andrew to speak to him about his experience in the automotive industry and also got his top tips for car buyers.
You’ve had almost 20 years behind the wheel as a journalist. Can you take us through your career in the auto industry? Where did you start?
Andrew Maclean: I grew up with cars at the core of my family, which clearly embedded in me, and wanted to write about and review them since I was a teenager. When I was eventually old enough, I began as a freelance writer and created a network of contacts and opportunities that has taken me through all aspects of the media industry, from traditional magazines and newspapers to radio, television and digital media.
