In medicine, a prosthesis (plural: prostheses; from Ancient Greek prósthesis, "addition, application, attachment") is an artificial device that replaces a missing body part, which may be lost through trauma, disease, or congenital conditions. Prosthetic amputee rehabilitation is primarily coordinated by a prosthetist and an inter-disciplinary team of health care professionals including psychiatrists, surgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
A person's prosthesis should be designed and assembled according to the patient's appearance and functional needs. For instance, a patient may need a transradial prosthesis, but need to choose between an aesthetic functional device, a myoelectric device, a body-powered device, or an activity specific device. The patient's future goals and economical capabilities may help them choose between one or more devices.
Craniofacial prostheses include intra-oral and extra-oral prostheses. Extra-oral prostheses are further divided into hemifacial, auricular (ear), nasal, orbital and ocular. Intra-oral prostheses include dental prostheses such as dentures, obturators, and dental implants.
A short film is any film not long enough to be considered a feature film. Although no consensus exists as to where that boundary is drawn, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits". The term featurette originally applied to a film longer than a short subject, but shorter than a standard feature film.
The increasingly rare term short subject means approximately the same thing. An industry term, it carries more of an assumption that the film is shown as part of a presentation along with a feature film. Short is an abbreviation for either term. Short films are often screened at local, national, or international film festivals and made by independent filmmakers for non profit, either with a low budget or no budget at all. They are usually funded by film grants, non profit organizations, sponsor, or personal funds. Short films are generally used by filmmakers to gain experience and/or prove their talent in order to gain funding for future films from private investors, entertainment companies, or film studios.

Johnny Matheny is the first person to attach a mind-controlled prosthetic limb directly to his skeleton. After losing his arm to cancer in 2008, Johnny signed up for a number of experimental surgeries to prepare himself to use a DARPA-funded prosthetic prototype. The Modular Prosthetic Limb, developed by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, allows Johnny to regain almost complete range of motion through the Bluetooth-controlled arm.

Traditional prosthetics can cost thousands of dollars and need to be replaced as children grow. A group of volunteers is using open-source technology and 3-D printers to provide free prosthetic hands for children and adults who need them. In this short from filmmaker Charlie Nordstrom, learn about e-NABLE, the organization behind the idea. Hear from Kieran, a child whose life has been improved by the device, and see the whole process unfold at Autodesk, a creative workshop in San Francisco. Even if you run, I will find you
I decided I want you, now I know I need
If you can't be bought, tougher than I thought
Keep in mind, I am with you
Never left out fate, can't concentrate, even if you run
You will be mine
Fucking you will be mine
Fucking you will be mine
Fucking you will be mine
Well I found you leanin' out of an open window
You laughed off my fingers clenched
Too perfect, far too careless
I couldn't help myself, I just took you
Dammit man I knew it was a mistake
Dammit man I knew it was a mistake
Dammit man I knew it was a mistake
Dammit man I knew it was a mistake
You brought it outta me, mistake
You brought it outta me, mistake
You brought it outta me, mistake
You brought it outta me, mistake
Better make yourself at home, you're here to stay
You won't bother me, if you let me bother you
All the doors are locked, all the windows shut
Keep in mind, I watch you
Never leave my side, never leave me, fucker even if you run
What the fuck is different man? I can't believe I'm doin' this
