Nick and Vanessa Lachey received the best Christmas gift this year. Their baby boy was born on Christmas Eve!
Nick announced the joyous news on Instagram on Monday, one day after Christmas. “It’s a very Merry Christmas indeed! We had our Christmas Miracle,” he wrote. “Phoenix Robert Lachey decided to show up early and was born on Christmas Eve. Mommy, Daddy, Camden & Brooklyn LOVE You very much! #LacheyPartyOf5.”
Accompanying the caption was the first photo of the newborn, although it only showed Phoenix’s tiny hand holding on to his mom’s. Vanessa posted the same photo and statement on her own Instagram page. Naturally, the comments section is now filled with well-wishes and congratulations from fans.
The Lacheys revealed in September that they were expecting their third child. That announcement was also made on Instagram, with the couple showing off their new home… and the reason for it. “We got a new crib! Now we need a new CRIB! #LacheyPartyOf5,” they said.
The new arrival follows the births of son Camden in 2012 and daughter Brooklyn in 2015. Nick and Vanessa wed in 2011, and clearly enjoy sharing their lives with fans on social media. Gossip Cop congratulates the couple on the new addition to their family!
