Police Association mass protest – 8 April

Police Association members held a mass meeting at the Rod Laver arena before marching through the city to Parliament House, stopping on the way to make their demands heard outside the Justice Department. They were led by Association Secretary Paul Mullett, who last year called for “an end point of legislative reform” to make street protests illegal (The Australian, 5 March 2007).
