Satish Kaushik (Hindi: सतीश कौशिक) is an Indian film director, producer and actor in primarily Hindi films and theatre.
As a film actor he is noted for his roles as 'Calendar' in Mr. India, and as 'Chanu Ahmed' in Sarah Gavron's British film Brick Lane (2007). He won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice: in 1990 for film Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural.
As a theatre actor, his most noted role is that of 'Willy Loman' in the Hindi-language play, Salesman Ramlal, an adaptation of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman.
He wrote dialogues for Kundan Shah's comedy classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983).
His film Teree Sang, starring Ruslaan Mumtaz and Sheena Shahabadi, explores issues of teen pregnancy.
Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956 in a village Dhanounda, district Mohindergarh, Haryana, India. He grew up in Delhi, Naiwala gali, Karolbagh. He graduated from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi. He went on to the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, where he graduated in 1978. He later studied at Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
Anil Kapoor (born 24 December 1959) is an Indian actor and producer who has appeared in many Bollywood films and more recently international films. Kapoor's career has spanned almost 40 years as an actor. He was the producer for the critically acclaimed movie Gandhi, My Father.
Anil Kapoor made his Hindi film debut with Umesh Mehra's Hamare Tumhare (1979) in a small role. He was then starred as a lead actor in the 1980 Telugu film, Vamsa Vruksham directed by veteran Bapu. He then made his Kannada film debut with Mani Ratnam's blockbuster Pallavi Anu Pallavi (1984). He received his first Filmfare Award, in the Best Supporting Actor category, for his role in Yash Chopra's Mashaal (1984). Kapoor earned his first Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performance in N. Chandra's Tezaab (1988) and later again for his performance in Indra Kumar's Beta (1992). He has also starred in many other critically and commercially successful films: Woh Saat Din (1983); Meri Jung (1985); Janbaaz (1986); Karma (1986); Mr. India (1987); Virasat (1997), for which he won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor; Biwi No.1 (1999); Taal (1999), for which he won his second Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award; Pukar (2000), for which he won a National Film Award for Best Actor; No Entry (2005); Welcome (2007); Race (2008); Race 2 (2013); Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) for which he won his third Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.

Bhunnu (Govinda) gives a contract to Pappu Pager (Satish Kaushik) for killing Raja (Anil Kapoor). He carries a cheque to make payment, but Pappu Pager (Satish Kaushik) refuses and demands cash. Bhunnu (Govinda) calls his father and tells him to arrange for the cash. His father carries the cash and reaches the house of Pappu Pager (Satish Kaushik). Bhunnu (Govinda) takes the cash from his father; however, his father convinces him not to get involved with the goons; so Bhunnu (Govinda) tells Pappu Pager (Satish Kaushik) he wants to withdraw the offer.
