PHILIPPINE AGRI-WEATHER FORECAST

The weather systems that will affect the whole country are northeast monsoon, tail-end of a cold front, easterlies and tropical cyclone.

During the early days of the decade, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains are expected over Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Palawan.  Afterwards, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Mindanao, CALABARZON, Central Luzon and provinces of Mindoro will experience moderate to heavy rains due to the possible development of tropical cyclone inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains are expected over the rest Luzon. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Northeasterly winds will prevail throughout the decade.

The coastal waters over Luzon and eastern section of Visayas will be moderate to rough while slight to moderate seas over the rest of the country.
