Falun Gong or Falun Dafa (literally, "Dharma Wheel Practice" or "Law Wheel Practice") is a Chinese spiritual practice that combines meditation and qigong exercises with a moral philosophy centered on the tenets of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance (Chinese: 真、善、忍). The practice emphasizes morality and the cultivation of virtue, and identifies as a qigong practice of the Buddhist school, though its teachings also incorporate elements drawn from Taoist traditions. Through moral rectitude and the practice of meditation, practitioners of Falun Gong aspire to better health and, ultimately, spiritual enlightenment.
Falun Gong was first taught publicly in Northeast China in 1992 by Li Hongzhi. It emerged toward the end of China's "qigong boom"—a period which saw the proliferation of similar practices of meditation, slow-moving exercises and regulated breathing. It differs from other qigong schools in its absence of fees or formal membership, lack of daily rituals of worship, its greater emphasis on morality, and the theological nature of its teachings. Western academics have described Falun Gong as a qigong discipline, a "spiritual movement", a "cultivation system" in the tradition of Chinese antiquity, or as a form of Chinese religion.
Falun (Swedish pronunciation: [2fɑːlɵnː]) is a city and the seat of Falun Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 37,291 inhabitants in 2010. It is also the capital of Dalarna County. Falun forms, together with Borlänge, a metropolitan area with close to 100,000 inhabitants.
Falun was originally famous for its copper mine, and is today an important service and industrial city even though the mine is closed (since 1992).
Faluån is a river, floating through the city, separating it into two sides. Falu copper mine is located on one of the sides which during many centuries was one of Sweden's main business. This side of the river was usually called "the mining side", where not many plants grew due to the toxic smoke which contaminated the soil. On the other side of the river, where the smoke did not reach, sets a large number of beautiful, large villas, which made this side to be called "the delightful side". The center of Falun consist of classical pedestrian streets with small shops. in 1998, the city reclaimed the award of "the city center of the year" in Sweden.
A gong (Chinese: 鑼; pinyin: luó; Indonesian or Javanese: gong; Malay: gong ) is an African, East and South East Asian musical percussion instrument that takes the form of a flat, circular metal disc which is hit with a mallet. It originated in China and later spread to Southeast Asia, and it can also be used in the percussion section of Western symphony orchestra.
Gongs are broadly of three types. Suspended gongs are more or less flat, circular discs of metal suspended vertically by means of a cord passed through holes near to the top rim. Bossed or nipple gongs have a raised centre boss and are often suspended and played horizontally. Bowl gongs are bowl-shaped, and rest on cushions and belong more to bells than gongs. Gongs are made mainly from bronze or brass but there are many other alloys in use.
Gongs produce two distinct types of sound. A gong with a substantially flat surface vibrates in multiple modes, giving a "crash" rather than a tuned note. This category of gong is sometimes called a tam-tam to distinguish it from the bossed gongs that give a tuned note. In Indonesian gamelan ensembles, some bossed gongs are deliberately made to generate in addition a beat note in the range from about 1 to 5 Hz. The use of the term "gong" for both these types of instrument is common.
New Tang Dynasty (NTD, Chinese: 新唐人電視台) Television is a television broadcaster based in New York City with correspondents in over 70 cities worldwide. The company retains a focus on China in its news broadcasts, and frequently covers topics that are censored in Mainland China, such as human rights. Its stated mission is to "promote uncensored information on China; to restore and promote traditional Chinese culture; and to facilitate mutual understanding between the East and West". NTD was founded and currently operated by Falun Gong practitioners.
NTD was founded in 2001 as a Chinese news media. Its mission is to offer "uncensored news" about China that other Chinese media would not cover. The station has a regular focus on the promotion of traditional Chinese culture, and devotes extensive news coverage to Chinese human rights issues, taking a critical stance on abuses of power by the Communist Party of China.
A communist party is a political party that advocates the application of the social and economic principles of communism through state policy. The name originates from the 1848 tract Manifesto of the Communist Party by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. According to Leninist theory, a Communist party is the vanguard party of the working class (Proletariat), whether ruling or non-ruling, but when such a party is in power in a specific country, the party is said to be the highest authority of the dictatorship of the proletariat. Vladimir Lenin's theories on the role of a Communist party were developed as the early 20th-century Russian social democracy divided into Bolshevik (meaning "of the majority") and Menshevik (meaning "of the minority") factions. Lenin, leader of the Bolsheviks, argued that a revolutionary party should be a small vanguard party with a centralized political command and a strict cadre policy; the Menshevik faction, however, argued that the party should be a broad-based mass movement. The Bolshevik party, which eventually became the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, took power in Russia after the October Revolution in 1917. With the creation of the Communist International, the Leninist concept of party building was copied by emerging Communist parties worldwide.

Falun Gong is an ancient Chinese spiritual discipline in the Buddhist tradition. Pronounced "Fah-loon Gong," it consists of moral teachings, a meditation, and four gentle exercises that are a truly unique and highly effective way to improve your health and energy levels. At the core of Falun Gong are the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance (or in Chinese, Zhen 真 Shan 善 Ren 忍). Falun Dafa teaches that these are the most fundamental qualities of the universe, and takes them to be a guide for daily life and practice. In the words of Falun Gong's founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, "assimilation to the highest qualities of the universe—Zhen 真 Shan 善 Ren 忍 —is the foundation of practice. Practice is guided by these supreme qualities, and based on the very laws which underlie the developme...
To understand why the persecution of Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa began in China, we need to take a look at how former Chinese leader and the man who started the persecution Jiang Zemin came to power. Jiang came to power following the Tiananmen Square Massacre and the ousting of two important leaders in the Chinese Communist Party, and Zhao Ziyang and Hu Yaobang, who's death sparked the Tiananmen Protests. But Jiang Zemin's position was shaky. He would need something to cement his power... During the 1990s, Falun Gong was widely recognized as uplifting public health and morality through its teachings of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. So why did the Chinese Communist Party launch a campaign to eradicate it, sending hundreds of thousands of law-abiding citizens into labor camps to face torture and death? Host Paul Stein welcomes Falun Dafa practitioner Brett Price as this week's special guest. In this episode, Brett talks about the origins, the core tenets and the spiritual, emotional and physical benefits derived from the cultivation practice of Falun Gong. There are over a hundred million Falun Gong practitioners worldwide. Sadly, there is a dark side to this interview. As of 1999, hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been incarcerated in labour camps. There, they face long, brutal hours of coerced labour -- manufacturing "stuff" for the West's consumer addictions -- as well as torture and murder. The healthy ones, who have been deemed to possess the right blood type, are put on a 'donor list' whereby their organs are forcibly harvested -- many while they are st...

I feel displaced in my kingdom of disgrace
And I feel shamefaced for the sin I know I can't replace
And I can't help but feeling a little low down
Or should it be the other way around
It seems my smile appears upside down
I guess then it's called a frown
I'm falling down, broken my crown
I Feel like a king who's lost everything
I'm falling down, down to the ground
Will you catch me, because I'm falling
I'm falling down
I'm all alone, trying to survive on my own
And I need a light, to guide me when I walk through this life
Maybe even save me from my strife
Perhaps even give me eternal life
And He'll have a beautiful kingdom
