Have a hot and moist summer with the Dyson Humidifier and more
Summer is here and it's definitely getting warmer in T3's UK base.
This can lead to discomfort, irritability and, ultimately, rioting and looting. We're sure you'll agree all those things are undesirable.
On the plus side, it means we Brits can stop complaining that it's too cold, and start complaining that it's too hot, whilst chasing Pokémon through torrid, sun-baked cities.
If you don't want to get too sweaty this summer, T3 is here to help with top tech to keep you at the optimum temperature.
First up, if you're fed up of dry, arid conditions, you'll need the Dyson Humidifier.
This not only functions as a cooling fan, it also pumps sweet, hygienically cleansed water vapour into the room and/or your face, depending on where you position it.
The Humidifier is intelligent enough to measure the temperature and humidity of your room and automatically adjust itself to provide a clean and comfortable environment.
It's asthma and allergy friendly, using ultraviolet light to kill 99.9-percent of bacteria in the water. We've been using one for the past year and can vouch wholeheartedly for its cooling properties.

Another good way to stay cool: get a Dyson robot to vacuum for you while you sip on a lemonade.
Sage Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker
Nothing beats freshly made ice-cream on a warm summer day, and you can't get any fresher than homemade.
The Sage Smart Scoop is our favourite.Clad in stylish stainless steel, this weighty worktop-gobbling monster not only looks the business, it produces a whole variety of frozen desserts with zero fuss.
Most other ice cream makers require regular checking to see whether the dessert has reached the desired consistency. Not this one. Simply hit the pre-cool button (it has its own built-in refrigerator) and wait ten minutes while the bowl reaches optimum operating temperature.
At the end of the whole process it plays an ice cream van tune and, if pre-selected, will go on keeping the contents chilled for up to three hours.
It's not cheap mind (you could buy over 80 large pots of Häagen Dazs for the same dosh) but if you're a serious ice cream fiend, this is the maker to make for.

Nike Dri-Fit COOL Tailwind
Isn't that a nice, cooling-sounding garment name? Clearly, our advice around running in this weather is: "don't run". However, if you must, then this is the kind of clothing you want.
Nike's ultra-lightweight poly-cotton mix keeps you cool as you run, with flat seams for comfort and reflective detailing. There's also a zip-up pocket for storing money for an emergency Mr Whippy.
11. Zoku Quick Pop Maker
Do you prefer ice lollies, or maybe you're lactose intolerant and ice cream is out of the question? Our top summer tip: make your own ice lollies.
Just freeze the Zoku base for 10 hours and it becomes an instant freezing station. It'll produce three icy treats in under 10 minutes, and around nine before it needs to return to its frozen lair. That's much faster than making lollies in the freezer.
The package includes six lolly sticks, six drip guards and what's described as 'a large orange lolly removal tool'. We assume that's referring to colour rather than flavour.

Adidas Climachill
Along similar lines, but with three stripes instead of a swoosh, Adidas has a range of clothing specifically designed to keep you cool.
It's called Climachill and includes some interesting tech to ensure maximum freshness.
The range uses strategically positioned aluminium spheres to create a cooling sensation on contact. The clothing is also made from highly breathable Polar Fiber, which is highly efficient at releasing heat and moisture.
An added benefit is that it doesn't actually look too much like sports clothing, so you could get away with wearing it in everyday situations such as the pub, or the queue for a Mr Whippy.

Braun Cooltec CT4S
A minor miracle of engineering, albeit rather an eccentric one, the Cooltec is quite literally an electric razor with a fridge in it. An aluminium bar within the head starts to cool literally as soon as you turn the thing on, and drops to about 5 degrees centigrade within two minutes. This reduces skin irritation, we are assured, and certainly feels weirdly pleasant.
The Cooltec works by using an electric heat pump to cool the aforementioned aluminium bar. It really is extremely clever, even if you have to slightly question its ultimate usefulness.
It's a wet/dry shaver so you can use it in the (cold) shower, and you get 45 minutes of face-soothing hair removal per charge, with a contour-following three-stage, multi-blade system doing the business in a depilatory sense.

John Lewis 20-inch Floor Fan
Another fan, but this time, all it does is move air about. As a bonus point, it also actually looks like a fan, rather than a bubble gum dispenser. Because we're traditional here at T3, we reckonyou can't beat the good old stainless steel wind blower.
This 20-inch floor fan from John Lewis is is the simple, stylish choice for homes and offices. You can find the most comfortable angle, and it has three speed settings for perfect windy-ness.
Sportline HydraCoach Intelligent Water Bottle
Make sure you're staying hydrated with HydraCoach, one of the smartest water bottles around.
The bottle is capable of calculating and tracking your fluid consumption throughout the day, which should motivate you to stay properly hydrated.
The LCD screen on the bottle displays the average amount of fluid consumed per hour, as well as other "interesting", water-related stats.
Unfortunately, there's no app support, so the data can't be used with other fitness tracking applications. Sorry to pour cold water on your excitement, there.

Holmes Bionaire Tower Fan
Yes, yet another fan. Now, If your budget can't stretch to a Dyson, and you're more bothered about space saving than aesthetics, we'd recommend the Holmes Bionairetower fan. It's elementary!
It's a tall, slim blower with three speed settings and an oscillating function. Thanks to the remote control, you don't even need to peel yourself off the sofa to ramp up the power.
