Lewis Gen Fricker on Drive, KLP on Good Nights, and a special episode of The Racket hosted by Karina Utomo of heavy-hitters
High Tension.
triple j Unearthed will play the best independent music made by women from all around the nation. Melbourne's hyper-garage punk galpals
LAZERTITS will take over the radio at 2pm to spin their local female faves. At 5.30pm, Unearthed SuperUser
Kristy Barker will take a step into the music industry by hosting her first ever show on
Tops!Over on
Double J, Myf will have
Natalie Prass and
Ibeyi in the guests chair at Lunch. At 3pm, author and music journalist
Jessica Hopper presents two hours of female music-makers. At 6pm, the Classic Album replay will see Caz Tran go deep on
Lauryn Hill's seminal 1998 debut
The Miseducation Of... then Sydney DJ/radio presenter Lorna Clarkson presents an all-female edition of electronic, dance, future pop, and experimental genres on Something More.
Heaps of your favourite artists will be getting in on the action, too.
Last year,
Meg Mac, Alison Wonderland, Julia Stone, and Adalita picked their favourite female artists and on Tuesday, more kick-ass Australian and international artists will introduce you to the women who inspired them.
