Basic is a brand of cigarettes manufactured by Philip Morris, a division of Altria Group.

As of 2005, Basic is the fourth most popular cigarette brand in the United States (following Marlboro, Newport, and Camel)[1] and the second most popular among white smokers age 26 and older.[2]

Basic comes in several different varieties:
