I never really change the url's now, even with gifs under 5mb, anyone with RES will still see a conversion in reddit and it probably forces mobile devices to take overly large files, I'll occasionally host minimal stuff soley on tumblr if I can get it under 2mb and still keep a decent resolution.

oops :P Never gone 3 whole days without spotting a fuck up, usually it's just after I've posted it to 4 subs, imgur and tumblr... then a mad scramble to delete them all and post the right one.

That's the absolute worst, working on something for 5-6 hours over a few days on and off, tweaking out flaws, putting bits of blur on grainy skies and touching up all your masks...then it's too big for imgur and gfycat turns it into the kanye west welcome to heartbreak video. I often find really cool but dark scenes and end up binning them because the conversions are too bad, bright/daylight scenes seem to work pretty good on either host though.

Had a few export stages with this, only just realised I upped the wrong one, making top post with a 'not quite finished' gif , only a little masking on the slightly wobbly simon and a tweak to neils arm but still, lol.

Took a little longer than I thought, the guys do remain quite still apart from a few arms changing position, but there is a slow pan in that meant I had to keep it shorter than I'd like. Luckily the pan only produced overlap errors on the two outer riders, mostly on the outermost wheels which are conveniently in front of darker areas of water...a little easier to mask up here n there.
