Lower Austria
Lower Austria (German: Niederösterreich, pronounced [ˈniːdɐˌʔøːstɐʀaɪ̯ç]; Czech: Dolní Rakousy; Slovak: Dolné Rakúsko) is the northeasternmost state of the nine states in Austria. The capital of Lower Austria since 1986 is Sankt Pölten, the most recently designated capital town in Austria. The capital of Lower Austria had formerly been Vienna, even though Vienna is not officially part of Lower Austria. With a land area of 19,186 km² and a population of 1.612 million people, it is the largest state in Austria, and in terms of population second only to the federal state of Vienna.
Geography
Situated east of Upper Austria, Lower Austria derives its name from its downriver location on the Danube River, which flows from west to east. Lower Austria has an international border, 414 km long, with the Czech Republic (mainly South Moravia) and Slovakia. The state has the second longest external border of all Austrian states. It also borders the other Austrian states of Upper Austria, Styria and Burgenland as well as surrounding Vienna.

The Fohlenhof Ebbs Stud at the foot of the Kaiser Mountains is the official location of the Tyrol Horse Breeding Union and is where the famous Haflinger horses are bred. Further west of the Inntal the Alpbach Tal leads into an untouched natural landscape. At an altitude of nine hundred and seventy five metres above sea level is the remote mountain village of Alpbach, the most beautiful village in the Tyrol which has maintained its traditional character with typical timber built farmhouses and balconies decorated with flowers. At the junction of Unter-Inntal and Ober-Inntal is the Tyrol’s metropolis of Innsbruck, the Florence Of The North. Bali - this word evokes a lot of thoughts: the tropical paradise, far away (at least from Austria), very exotic. While all of this is true, what fascinated me even more was that special mood, that atmosphere, "a tropical state of mind".
The Balinese are a very generous, warm people, deeply entrenched in their tradition, which is still incredibly alive. Their style of living, family values, culture - an exceptional experience, which they share with you everywhere, around every corner.
I was thinking a lot how to convey this mood, this relaxed atmosphere and feeling - for me the best way was to have a very slow paced film, showing the exceptional beauty of this little island and their inhabitants.

Bali - this word evokes a lot of thoughts: the tropical paradise, far away (at least from Austria), very exotic. While all of this is true, what fascinated me even more was that special mood, that atmosphere, "a tropical state of mind".
The Balinese are a very generous, warm people, deeply entrenched in their tradition, which is still incredibly alive. Their style of living, family values, culture - an exceptional experience, which they share with you everywhere, around every corner.
I was thinking a lot how to convey this mood, this relaxed atmosphere and feeling - for me the best way was to have a very slow paced film, showing the exceptional beauty of this little island and their inhabitants.

C.'s Windrider Fox-Epp (ca. 500g + 100g ballast) at the slope Stetten (lower Austria) near Vienna / Austria. This slope lies on the hill "Stettner Berg" which is declared a natural monument. The Schneeberg Railway (German: Schneebergbahn) is one of three rack railways in Austria still operating, and runs from the small town of Puchberg am Schneeberg in Lower Austria up to a plateau beneath the Schneeberg summit.
