"PAVITRA PAAPI" movie was based on a Punjabi novel by famous writer Nanak Singh
Pannalal is employed in a clock repair shop owned by Adarshan Lala and is replaced by Kedarnath,who comes to the town of Punjab in search of such work, as according to him, his ancestors were in the same business. On this Pannalal curses him as being the cause of his family becoming destitute and writes a letter to him saying that this has driven him to suicide and disappears. Kedarnath is guilt ridden and goes out of his way to help, his wife Maya, and his two daughters, Veena and Vidya. Kedarnath rents a room with them, writes letters to her on behalf of her husband and teaches Veena during his free time making him fall in love with her. But when Maya tells him that Veena's marriage is already arranged he helps in the marriage of Veena with the son of Daulatram. When Maya tells him that she has no money to pay for the marriage expenses, he steals cash from his employer, and tells Maya that the money is from Pannalal. He then goes away from the village . Veena's in laws turn out to be rogues except for her father-in-law who counsels his family that they should not torture the daughter of somebody.

Plot: Govind (Parikshat Sahni) lives with his widowed mother (Lalita Pawar) in Pritampur. Parikshit Sahni
Parikshit Sahni (born 1944 in Murree, British India, now in Pakistan) is an Indian film and television actor, who is most known for playing the lead in TV series Barrister Vinod, Gul Gulshan Gulfaam (Doordarshan) and Gaatha (STAR Plus). He has also appeared in three of Rajkumar Hirani's blockbuster films such as Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, and PK.
He is the son of noted actor Balraj Sahni and nephew of writer Bhisham Sahni.
He comes from a Punjabi background.
Early life
He was born while his father was teaching English at Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan of Rabindranath Tagore, and his mother was doing her Bachelors. Schooled at Lawrence School, Sanawar, he went to study at Delhi's prestigious St. Stephen's College. Later, he began his career as a child artist.
Career
One of his most famous film is 3 Idiots where he got appreciation for playing R Madhavan's father. He had a major role in the TV series Heena as Nawab Mirza, Heena's father. Heena ended in 2003. Currently, Sahni is playing the role of Veer Singh (Kaka-sa) on the popular Zee serial, Saat Phere opposite Nivedita Bhattacharya.

Sahni
'Sahni' or 'Sawhney' is a Hindu surname. Sahni is one of the superior cast among all Hindus. They belong to the Khukhrain sub-caste of Punjabi Khatris. The Khukhrain comprise 8 clans who originally belonged to the Sind Sagar Doab (Indus-Jhelum interfluve) and Jech Doab (Jhelum-Chenab interfluve) region which mainly comprised Khushab, Pindi Gheb, Talagang, Chakwal, Mitihali, Nara, Pind Dadan Khan, Peshawar and Nowsherain in Punjab region of Pakistan. After the Partition of India in 1947 they spread out all over India and also overseas.

Hema Malini
Hema Malini ("Hema Malini Chakravarty") (born 16 October 1948, Ammankudi (Orathanadu), Tamil Nadu, India) is an Indian actress, director, producer, dancer and politician. Malini made her acting debut in Sapno Ka Saudagar (1968), and went on to feature in numerous Bollywood films, primarily as the lead actress. In most of her films, she starred opposite her husband; Dharmendra and with Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan.
Malini was initially promoted as the "Dream Girl", and in 1977 starred in a film of the same name. She has played both comic and dramatic roles, as well as being a dancer. She has appeared in more than 150 films. During her career, Malini received eleven nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, winning the award in 1972. In 2000, Malini won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award and also the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour awarded by the Government of India. In 2012, the Sir Padampat Singhania University conferred an Honorary Doctorate on Malini in recognition of her contribution to Indian cinema. Malini served as chairperson of the National Film Development Corporation. In 2006, Malini received Sopori Academy of Music And Performing Arts (SaMaPa) Vitasta award from Bhajan Sopori in Delhi for her contribution and service to Indian culture and dance.

Full Length LP
Full Length LP is the debut album by the Huntington Beach, California punk rock band Guttermouth, released in 1991 by Dr. Strange Records. It introduced the band's style of fast, abrasive punk rock with tongue-in-cheek humor and sarcastic lyrics. The album was originally released as an LP but was repackaged the following year as a CD including tracks from the band's first 2 EPs Puke and Balls, as well as the previously unreleased tracks "Malted Vomit" and "Ghost." It was re-released again in 1996 by Nitro Records under the title The Album Formerly Known as Full Length LP.
The album proved to be a success for the band, expanding their fan base and giving them opportunities to play shows all over southern California alongside other popular punk rock bands. An animated music video was made for the song “1, 2, 3…Slam!” and played on local punk rock and skateboarding video programs. Many of the songs from Full Length would remain staples in the band's live set throughout their career.

Lata Mangeshkar (
pronunciation ) (born 28 September 1929) is an Indian playback singer, and occasional music-composer. She is one of the best-known and most respected playback singers in India. Mangeshkar's career started in 1942 and has spanned over seven decades. She has recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films and has sung songs in over thirty-six regional Indian languages and foreign languages, though primarily in Marathi and Hindi. She is the elder sister of singers Asha Bhosle, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar. She is the second vocalist, after M. S. Subbulakshmi, to have ever been awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.
India's highest award in cinema the Dadasaheb Phalke Award was bestowed her in 1989 by the Government of India.

"PAVITRA PAAPI" movie was based on a Punjabi novel by famous writer Nanak Singh
Pannalal is employed in a clock repair shop owned by Adarshan Lala and is replaced by Kedarnath,who comes to the town of Punjab in search of such work, as according to him, his ancestors were in the same business. On this Pannalal curses him as being the cause of his family becoming destitute and writes a letter to him saying that this has driven him to suicide and disappears. Kedarnath is guilt ridden and goes out of his way to help, his wife Maya, and his two daughters, Veena and Vidya. Kedarnath rents a room with them, writes letters to her on behalf of her husband and teaches Veena during his free time making him fall in love with her. But when Maya tells him that Veena's marriage is already arranged he helps in the marriage of Veena with the son of Daulatram. When Maya tells him that she has no money to pay for the marriage expenses, he steals cash from his employer, and tells Maya that the money is from Pannalal. He then goes away from the village . Veena's in laws turn out to be rogues except for her father-in-law who counsels his family that they should not torture the daughter of somebody.

Pannalal is employed in a clock repair shop owned by Adarshan Lala and is replaced by Kedarnath,who comes to the town of Punjab in search of such work, as according to him, his ancestors were in the same business. On this Pannalal curses him as being the cause of his family becoming destitute and writes a letter to him saying that this has driven him to suicide and disappears. Kedarnath is guilt ridden and goes out of his way to help, his wife Maya, and his two daughters, Veena and Vidya. Kedarnath rents a room with them, writes letters to her on behalf of her husband and teaches Veena during his free time making him fall in love with her. But when Maya tells him that Veena's marriage is already arranged he helps in the marriage of Veena with the son of Daulatram. When Maya tells him that she has no money to pay for the marriage expenses, he steals cash from his employer, and tells Maya that the money is from Pannalal. He then goes away from the village . Veena's in laws turn out to be rogues except for her father-in-law who counsels his family that they should not torture the daughter of somebody.

He has a faithful servant, fondly called Mama (Virendra Saxena) for company. The other four friends are Salim (Arun Bali), Billu (Sushil Parashar), Ajay (Ajit Mehra) and Mithu (Yashodhan Bal). All of them would meet every once in a while for a game of cards and wine. All was well until Mithu meets with a sudden death. This upsets Pappu and he becomes very gloomy. Just when things were getting back to normalcy, Salim suffers from a heart attack and he too passes away. This really shatters Pappu since his friends were the world for him. He loses interest in everything and gets into severe depression. This is when his servant Mama makes him realize that life shouldn t come to a standstill when a person departs. Life is about moving on.

Synopsis : Sonu lives with his sister Lakshmi and parents in a rustic village in Kutch, Gujarat bordering Pakistan. One day when his father falls sick Sonu and Lakshmi volunteer to graze the camels. During a food break the camels drift away. Sonu goes in search only to find himself lost in the wilderness with no camel in sight. He unknowingly crosses the border and lands at herdsman Razak’s home in Pakistan. Concerned by his plight Razak quietly takes Sonu and leaves him across the border with the promise to find and deliver his camels. Parikshit Sahani acts in this film that comments on the concept of borders that adults build and how no borders can be built upon the innocence of a child. The film has won many awards globally.

Cocoa traders selling to Mars, Nestlé, Mondelez and other large brands purchase beans grown illegally inside restricted areas in the Ivory Coast where rainforest cover declined by more than 80 percent since 1960, the report said ...
