What a game. A thrilling second half as Cronulla couldn't maintain their form from the first 40, but they did just enough to hold off a fast-finishing Brisbane side. I can definitely see these teams meeting at some point in September - it's clear that they're in the top three teams in the competition right now and that's reinforced by their position on the ladder. They're now equal first with Brisbane, North Queensland and Melbourne.

Milford kicks through and that is not the right option! His grubber is straight to Barba who runs it back and the Sharks are going to hold on!

And it's been changed to a shoulder charge! I'm not so sure about that. Brisbane can kick for touch and Hunt finds it 40m out from his own line. They'll have one set to win it!

That's one of the best defensive sets you'll ever see. The Broncos made a measly NINE metres from their set before they run it on the last and Bukuya absolutely drills Hunt with a tackle! Handover just 20m out from the Brisbane line...or is it? The Bunker are intervening!

Milford drops it!! Cronulla scrum on halfway and a good set here could seal it - a bit of justice after the pass from dummy half by Waddell was half a metre forward.

The play breaks down on the last and Andrew Fifita ends up putting in the kick, and the big forward then coathangers Hunt before he can even pick the ball up. Silly penalty to give away! Nine minutes to go.

After a couple of offloads from Milford and Hunt, Gillett puts it down! I think that went backwards but it's a Cronulla scrum 30m out from their own line.

The Sharks run it on the last but Barba's pass is a step behind Holmes who puts it down. Still, a turnover 5m out isn't the worst result for Cronulla. They still have an eight-point lead with 13 to go.
