Christmas in the City - relax into December 25 with some festive food
There is still plenty to do at the Christmas in the City festivities in fairy-light-sparkling Civic Square and Ainslie Place in the heart of Canberra.
The Sweet Tooth Dessert Markets are in Civic Square on Thursday from 5pm to 10pm. Did someone say "deep-fried Golden Gaytime"?

The Cocktails and Canapes Markets are in Civic Square on Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. The markets are accompanied by live music.

It's ok! You haven't missed the Christmas in the City food markets
You can grab a photo with Santa - and the kids and the pets - from 4pm to 9pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Prices start at $20. All proceeds go to Red Nose.
Entry into the Christmas Food Markets is by donation to Red Nose - either cash or tap and go.
Treat the kids to some Christmas merchandise from the Red Nose stall in front of the Canberra Christmas tree. There are light-up headbands, spinning wheels and bubble blowers. Be sure to get a free candy cane from an elf dancing throughout the event.
Visitors to the food markets can enjoy the hundreds of fairy lights in Ainslie Place and Civic Square as well as an interactive digital graffiti wall which comes to life as the sun sets. The wall allows users to interact with digital stencils of Christmas reindeers and Holly in conjunction with freestyle art.
