Leading My Best Life: Jwaundace Candece
Jwaundace Candece moved to Los Angeles in January 2000 from Atlanta to pursue a career in acting. Because of her athletic abilities, she ended up auditioning with thousands of girls for WOW (Women of Wrestling) TV series that aired in 2000.
Jwaundace was later recruited into the stunt world. She was approached to be a stunt double for Queen Latifah in "Bringing Down the House". That fight scene she did for Queen Latifah earned her a "Best Fight" nomination at the MTV Movie Awards in 2004. After that, Jwaundace decided to perform more stunt work to gain recognition to transfer into acting.
After performing in over 75 filming and TV shows, performing stunts for Oscar and Emmy nominated and winning actresses such as Viola Davis, Mo'Nique, Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Whoopi Goldberg, O...

Jwaundace Candece is a veteran of the stunt world having first made the transition from professional wrestling to on-screen fighting and stunt doubling in the early 2000s. As well as doubling for some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names – including Queen Latifah, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Hudson, Whoopi Goldberg and Viola Davis – she has now mostly moved away from combat scenes to become one of the industry’s top stunt drivers. Wrestling Divaz conducts an exclusive interview with stunt performer, actress, and pro wrestler Jwaundace Candece. Jwaundace got her first big break on the Women of Wrestling (WOW) TV show, as Delta Lotta Pain. Since then she has had a hugely successful career as a stunts performer. She has done stunt work for films such as Taxi, Last Holiday, Scary Movie 3, Dreamgirls, Precious, and The Help. With such a large skill set, she is one performer that will always catch one's eye!
