Not a review - Just a quick look at the 100 Revolving Restaurant in Manila Philippines. It is the only revolving restaurant in Metro Manila; The GoPro cam captures some of the feel of the Incredible 360 degree Penthouse views from the 33rd floor of the MDC building. It is located off of C5 road in the Libis area of Quezon city (Eastwood City) Skyline views of Ortigas, and Metro Manila in the distance. You may get a sense of vertigo from just watching the wide angle capture from the Hero 3 Camera.

The Westin Hotel in Downtown Atlanta has a revolving restaurant at the top. It's called The Sundial. We went for lunch and set the GoPro camera to record the 360 degree spin over one hour. This is sped up to about two minutes.

Revolving restaurant
A revolving restaurant or rotating restaurant is usually a tower restaurant eating space designed to rest atop a broad circular revolving platform that operates as a large turntable. The building remains stationary and the diners are carried on the revolving floor. The revolving rate varies between one and three times per hour and enables patrons to enjoy a panoramic view without leaving their seats. The slow speed only requires less than a horsepower. Such restaurants are often located on upper stories of hotels, communication towers, and skyscrapers.
History
It is believed that Emperor Nero had a rotating dining room in his palace Domus Aurea on the Palatine Hill with a magnificent view on the Forum Romanum and Colosseum.
A barrel-shaped, but stationary, restaurant on Fernsehturm Stuttgart, a TV tower in Stuttgart, Germany, built in 1956, was noted as the inspiration for the idea of a revolving restaurant. A revolving restaurant on Florianturm, a TV tower in Dortmund, Germany, was brought into service in 1959.

It is the only revolving restaurant in Metro Manila; The GoPro cam captures some of the feel of the Incredible 360 degree Penthouse views from the 33rd floor of the MDC building. It is located off of C5 road in the Libis area of Quezon city (Eastwood City) Skyline views of Ortigas, and Metro Manila in the distance. You may get a sense of vertigo from just watching the wide angle capture from the Hero 3 Camera.
