A house show or live event is a professional wrestling event produced by a major promotion that is not televised, though they can be recorded. Promotions use house shows mainly to cash in on the exposure that they and their wrestlers receive during televised events, as well as to test reactions to matches, wrestlers, and gimmicks that are being considered for the main televised programming.
House shows are often used to promote upcoming televised events, especially pay-per-views, and will then feature matches between wrestlers who are scheduled to work a match at the pay-per-view. This allows them to secure a 'feel' for each other's style and test out specific parts of matches planned for pay-per-view.
From the 1950s to late 1980s, most major matches and title changes happened at house shows, largely due to the costs to produce a TV show at the time, plus the lack of more modern technology making it significantly harder to tape a TV show. TV shows were taped in small studios, and featured squash matches, run-ins, and promos which revolved around feuds to be settled at the house show. Some of these big matches later aired, often scheduled "for TV time remaining", which usually ran out as the match built to a finish, hopefully making fans regret missing it and buy tickets to the next show. This changed in the 1990s as the formula for TV shows had changed completely by the time, largely due to the then-new Monday Night Raw produced by the World Wrestling Federation (today known as WWE) which changed the way TV shows were taped and proved to be a huge success for the WWF. And later with the advent of Monday Nitro.
Deep Space may refer to:
A house is a building that functions as a home, ranging from simple dwellings such as rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes and the improvised shacks in shantytowns to complex, fixed structures of wood, brick, marble or other materials containing plumbing, ventilation and electrical systems. Most conventional modern houses in Western cultures will contain a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or cooking area, and a living room. In traditional agriculture-oriented societies, domestic animals such as chickens or larger livestock (like cattle) may share part of the house with humans. The social unit that lives in a house is known as a household. Most commonly, a household is a family unit of some kind, although households may also be other social groups or individuals. The design and structure of the house is also subject to change as a consequence of globalization, urbanization and other social, economic, demographic, and technological reasons. Various other cultural factors also influence the building style and patterns of domestic space.

A somewhat grim and imposing house situated on the banks of the river Cleddau in Pembrokshire. The house is a true ruin with no windows, floors, roofing or anything! This is the sixth episode of BBC's Restoration Home, a brilliant program on the saving of 'At Risk' buildings with significant heritage. -I own nothing of the content of this film, it belongs to the BBC. I have uploaded this for education.

Less than a day after returning from Doe Bay Fest 2010 on Orcas Island, The Head & The Heart played a small house show on Queen Anne that was the perfect way to ease the transition off of island time. Shot on a whim and edited in a couple hrs but it seems to capture the atmosphere of a great night. Backtrack (NY) came through Australia last week. And as an added bonus they played a secret house show at the legendary 208. I caught BT at sound + fury last year and the massive venue did them no justice, a way better experience in a smaller room. Now at the end of this video, is a segment of the best of the guy who is now known as "Atom, Creator Of The Universe" (this is how he introduced himself after the show). I have no idea where this guy came from, what he might have been on or where he went after the show but it definitely provided some extra entertainment during the night. Everyone was a bit shocked to see a shirtless guy with a tattooed head standing in the middle of the room when Blkout came in to play, but he did no harm to anyone so he's cool. Was a bangin night! One of my favorite bands came through Kansas City earlier this month. I was super excited about this show. The Autumn Film is a perfect band to see in a house setting. Their songs have depth and they're really approachable people. If you've never been to a house show I highly recommend it. Anyway, the video doesn't nearly do it justice so next time they roll through town you'll need to see them yourself. Visit www.theautumnfilm.com for more about the band, free music downloads, and other goodies.
On March 15th, 2010, Strand of Oaks sat down in front of a fireplace inside a Wauwatosa home. Using a borrowed guitar he kept the attentive crowd of about 30 people in his gentle music grasp. Actually, it was more like a hug. The night was easy-going, filled with laughter, storytelling, and plenty of glasses raised in appreciation. The set included material culled from his 2009 release, Leave Ruin, and the intimate setting provided an opportunity to reveal new material from a forthcoming new release. Over the course of the night the songs were enhanced by the vocal harmonies of Aaron and Ryan from Juniper Tar, who are accompanying Tim to Austin and acting as his backing band. The audience also got covers of Springsteen’s “Used Cars,” Damien Jurado’s “Ohio” and a very brief cover of Templ...

he lived where the sun shines and
where the landscape's so arid
nothing moves here
nothing attracts me
how can i live in this boring city ?
nothing here can give me a smile
nothing here can can give me joy
nothing moves here
nothing attracts me
i can't stay in this dead city...
nothing to see here
i need some other faces,so
nothing to build up here, no
i can't stay here alone, no
nothing to go here, no
i need another place where...
he left his native country
trying to find another way
'cause nothing pleased me
nothing helped me
needing to breathe another air
wishing to hear other sounds
wishing to meet other faces
another life is calling him, now
