This is the first of a series of videos made on our Gujarat Trip. We covered many places in Gujarat. This part covers our journey starting from Vadodara. We visited the wild ass sanctuary at Dasada near Ahmadabad then proceeded to Bhuj via Bhachau. From Bhuj we went to Kala Dungar or Kalo Dungar. The next part would continue from where this part ends and will highlight the white desert at Rann of Kutch and many other places.

The Pragmahal Palace was partly destroyed during the earthquake in 2001, Bhuj. Being in the remote part of India doesn't help to keep the monument. Gujarat Tourist guide on the courtyard, pigeons inside and 10-rupia tickets make that the palace falls into decay.

The admirable palace which belonged to Maharao Lakhpatiji has now been the transformed into Museum so, is one of the Best Tourist Attractions in Bhuj Town. The Aina Mahal is famous to awesome Hall of Mirrors from which the palace gets its name (Aina Mahal).
Aina Mahal is a part of a large palace complex. Its two acclaimed architecture with Darbar Hall, anteroom of mirrors, and suites for Royal family. The Ramsing and Gaidhar Devshi created this amazing palace in the period of Maharao Lakhpatji (1752-1761).
Its creator had a passion for music, arts, architectures and literature. There he received training in the techniques of making clock, tiles, canon fabrication, Enameling and Architecture. The white marbled wall of Aina Mahal is covered with mirrors separated by gilded ornaments.
The Aina Mahal is surrounded by series of fountains operated by an Elaborated system of pump below a Venation chandelier. Aina Mahal's Art Gallery has many photographs of Bhuj Town and the portraits of the Rulers. So Aina Mahal is a unique example of an Gujarat palace.

Bhuj City located in Kutch District of Gujarat. here many temple and historical places but the rotary bhavan in hospital road is very good library there and people come to read various book in this bhavan. its called krishna mehta bhavan.

Bhuj (
) is a city and a municipality in Kutch district in the state of Gujarat, India.
History
Bhuj, formerly sacred to the snake Bhujang, was established by Rao Hamirji in 1510 and was made the capital of Cutch State by Rao Khengarji I in 1549. Its foundation stone as state capital was formally laid on Vikram Samvat 1604 Maagha 5th (approx. 25 January 1548). After 1590, when Rao was forced to acknowledge Mughal supremacy, Bhuj was known as Suleiman Nagar among Muslims. The walls were built by Rao Godji I in 1723, and the Bhujiya Fort by Devkaran Seth in Rao Deshalji I's time (1718 - 1741).
Bhuj has been attacked six times. In two cases the defense was successful and in four it failed. In 1728 an attack by Sarbuland Khan, Mughal Viceroy of Gujarat, was repulsed by Rao Deshalji I, and, in 1765 Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro was, by a timely display of the strength of the fortifications, induced to withdraw. During the civil troubles of the reign of the Rao Rayadhan III, Bhuj was thrice taken, by Meghji Seth in 1786, by Hansraj in 1801, and by Fateh Muhammad in 1808. On the 26th March 1819, the hill fort of Bhujia was captured by a British detachment under Sir William Keir.

Aina Mahal in Bhuj
The admirable palace which belonged to Maharao Lakhpatiji has now been the transformed into Museum so, is one of the Best Tourist Attractions in Bhuj Town. The Aina Mahal is famous to awesome Hall of Mirrors from which the palace gets its name (Aina Mahal). Aina Mahal is a part of a large palace complex. Its two acclaimed architecture with Darbar Hall, anteroom of mirrors, and suites for Royal family. The Ramsing and Gaidhar Devshi created this amazing palace in the period of Maharao Lakhpatji (1752-1761). Its creator had a passion for music, arts, architectures and literature. This is the first of a series of videos made on our Gujarat Trip. We covered many places in Gujarat. This part covers our journey starting from Vadodara. We visited the wild ass sanctuary at Dasada near Ahmadabad then proceeded to Bhuj via Bhachau. From Bhuj we went to Kala Dungar or Kalo Dungar. The next part would continue from where this part ends and will highlight the white desert at Rann of Kutch and many other places.
